New Refillable mug designs at POP and AS

Last summer at BC, they ran out of the BC mugs and we got stuck with the Summer 2006 mugs that you could buy at MGM studios. The 'real' BC mugs were back in stock the last day we were there.

Over at allearsnet they post a pic of the new mug and note that the design has been spotted at both POP and SSR....so the new mugs do not seem limited to the values...

Does anyone know I couldn't tell does it say 2007 on it??? I missed getting them, was there at POR in March. I would hate to get a 2007 when I return next March!!! If they don't have the date on them then that is a bonus for me.

Yes, they say 2007 on them.

I think that is why they say 2007.

So they can only be used this year.

If my theory is right than next year the mugs would say 2008.

It may be a test run so the CM's can tell the new mugs from the old and phase out guests trying to bring old mugs back.

They are only used in the resorts.

The waterparks do sell their own version of the refillable mugs.

is it just me or do they look like "winter" mugs? The cool blue etc..just reminds me of winter. I live in N.E. and this is not a plus to me . I will be very disappointed if that is the only mug available in July.

They reminded me of the blue of the Mediterranean Sea.

Well, they still look like winter to me, and I'm still gonna hope they have another choice when I'm there.

We have used the same mugs (gasp!) for our last 3 trips, but since the whole big family is going this time I'm buying them all mugs so I figured we'd get new ones too.

Maybe I'll just bring my old ones for us

I got the pic from the Food-Porn thread just to show the colors and design, don't know where it is from but it does look rather tasty.

This has probably been reported but this was the mug at Saratoga Springs (Deluxe) last week. I am thinking that as soon as the other resorts depletes its inventory of its own named mugs, they will be replaced with these. So, collectors, start collecting...
