New Puppy, Disney name!

We named our dog Princess Tiger Lily from Peter Pan. We always just called her Lily though.

Another vote for Lily! I love that it was Walt's wife and also from Peter Pan - did you know that the Riverboat in DTD was named after Mrs. Disney?We were so disappointed when the name was changed.

Also really like Casey, but have only known boys and boy dogs named Casey so most folks might think she is a he....but if that doesn't bother you and its your favorite name then it will be a wonderful name.

I LOVE the name Casey...it just happens to be my wonderful DH name

We had a Golden Ret. named Copper from Fox and the Hound and we just got our Great Dane puppy 3 months ago and named her Lilly Belle after steam engine 2 at WDW.

I voted Ellie but I would call her Elle. Casey is too boyish for me. And Lily, well I am not feeling it.

I think of white for Lily and you said the dog is ivory. That just not compute for me. I do tend to name animals on appearance, but not always.

I have 2 dogs that are named Butters (yellow dog) and a Gracie (tri color border, she was my stumper).

I have had cats that are Smokey (grey), Bandit (black and white with triangle black patch on the eye), Stripe (from Gremlins, and yes he had a raised white mohawk on his head), Ashley (grey) and Honey (yellow tabby).

Would your DH mind if we used the name for a female dog?

He always says he has a girl's name so I think it is perfect!...also, Casey, Jr. is the train from Dumbo which is just classic Disney!!

I see you are from Minnesota too!
