Hi all! I have been posting around here for the past week or so and saw this board so I thought I would come introduce myself officially 
My name is Alison (27) and my husband is Thomas (29). We have two little boys Oliver, who will be three next week and Jack who just turned one. We live in San Jose, and I have to pleasure and sometimes curse
of being a stay at home mom to my active little men.
We just returned from our first family vacation to Disneyland and it was magical. Tom and I both grew up going to Disneyland about once a year, and then I went to UC Irvine for college which is only about 15 mins from Disneyland, so I thought I had been there done that and that I was "over" Disney. Uhm yeah, no
Going with my kids was just such a different and amazing experience, I forgot what a truly magical place it can really be.
Oliver has been talking about our trip every day since we got back and is still toting around the pamphlet from the park, calling it his Disneyland book and pointing out the pictures of his favorite rides to anyone who will listen. Soooooo...we are planning to go back in December as a Christmas surprise for the boys. We are even looking at possibly joining the DVC since we will go at least once a year through their childhood. And we are tentatively planning a WDW trip sometime in about 8-10 years when the kids are really old enough to enjoy it.
Anyway, so far I've found these boards to be such a helpful and welcoming place, and I look forward to getting to know you all better to and to finding an outlet for a discussion of all things Disney
