New Poly Tower or Longhouse?

For those of you that have had the opportunity to stay in both, which did you prefer and why?

I have a family of 5, and we need the space of a 1 bedroom at the tower. At this point with 3 kids under the age of 4 there are just too many different nap/bed times that we just need that additional space to spread out. And then as the kids get older we'll still need the space to spread out.

If we were still a family of 4 then I'd probably say short term for the next 2 years Tower 1 bedroom, but then we could go back to a Poly longhouse studio for the foreseeable future. Those longhouse studios are huge.

We just stayed in the Tower last night and loved it. I have always loved the idea of the Poly, the history of it, the view of the castle and the beautiful grounds but I don’t love the chaos of it. Paying a premium to stay there and then feeling the opposite of relaxed makes me sad. We wanted to check out the new tower so I booked one night and the difference was night and day. I loved the design, the busy yet calm lobby, Wailulu Bar & Grill, the pocket gardens, it was a good match for us. We went through the GCH this morning and my head almost spun off. If we stay at the Poly again, it will only be in the tower.
