What Days is Auntie at the Poly? Does she sell flower leis?
Is there a hot tub at the quiet pool at BWV? And I don't remember if there is a hot tub at the quiet pool at SSR's Congress Park.I'm trying to think of a quiet pool anywhere else that didn't have the hot tub? But then Poly didn't even have that at the main pool until last year.

And the bathrooms are pretty much a given for quiet pools too, but there might have been some here before, I can't recall though as it had been a long time since I had used that pool.

You might be right about DVC resorts, but I think the Grand Floridian doesn't have a second hot tub at the Beach pool. There is one at the feature pool only.
I wouldn't mind if each resort had two hot tubs, one for adults only. Many times you can even get in because of the dozen kids, by themselves, playing in the hot tub. Not that I blame the kids since the pools are kept pretty cold, but it is not a relaxing experience for an adult. I was spoiled at Aulani as they now have labeled the bi-level hot tub for adults only. I expect the change was made because kids used to go over the falls from the upper level to lower level, so it was safety issue.
Chatted with Auntie at length. She has been at WDW since opening in 1971. She is originally from Maui and most of her family lives in Orlando area and some apparently work at Disney too. We talked about the flowers she uses to make the leis (mainly carnations) and she is dismayed that she isn't able to use real dendrobium orchids, plumeria and Pikake (Arabian Jasmine) which are the most traditional fragrant flowers used. Unfortunately, she has no control over the flowers used. Not sure exactly what days Auntie Kowie (sp?) is at the Poly but she is there almost every time I have gone over for a meal/beverage or to meet friends there. She is a darling person and still does make the real flower lei to sell. She is almost always immediately to your left as you enter the lobby on ground floor, right by the entrance to the big store.

Is the new Poly pool open yet?
Edited: Just saw the other thread that it's opening on the 12th...
I'm a bit disappointed...looks like a small oval pool...agree they could've made it a better shape...could've put some washers dryers there...DVC activated, money for other Poly guests...we're studio people mostly
Are there 2 laundry areas at the the Poly, one for regular guest and one for DVC guest? The washers and dryers are where they should be...secure in the building for DVC members to access. At SSR we had to wait all day one day for a guest who was not even staying at the resort but trucked in her laundry and took up the 2 washers for 4 hours, then the dryers. She propped open the door and then when it was closed, she sat inside. She was confronted but it was nuts. At BLT...don't have a resort MB...can't get in....that's how it should be at all resorts going forward.
Poly cash guests have access to pay washers and dryers. Keeps the dues down for members if we all follow the rules.
This 'new pool' appears to be less impressive than the original pool.
Salt water, zero entry with bubblers and a rimless design seems different to me. Add in better seating, a hot tub and a bar and grill and I would say its much different.
