Fort Wilderness management rolled out a new policy in the last few days which has ruffled a few feathers, but is a relief to others. This new sign at the Reception Outpost sums up the policy, what is your take?

Wow, thought I'd get a couple of fish on the hook before getting pantsed!

Good to hear from you Shan. Haven't seen you around in a long time.

Thought it would make for a better "sneak attack"! LOL

It worked! I thought the April Fools was somebody posting under your name.

Good to know you're doing OK.

I still peek in here once in a while, but after the "great flush" I took some time off and pretty much just do Facebook these days... it just easier (exhibit A being the difficulty I had posting that picture using my ipad!). Still love the Fort and Fort folk, be they friends or fiends. LOL

Glad to see you Shan! I think I ran across a FB post from you in an RV forum a while back...I wondered if it was you, now I bet it was! :)

Very possibly, I have been seeking a bit of advice recently... we are thinking about buying a diesel pusher, which is virgin territory for me!

Ooh, happy shopping! Have you checked out the new Nexus Bentley? We've looked a lot at the Nexus C's and really like their build methods (but we're sticking with our Winnie for the time being). Anyway Nexus introduced a DP a couple of months ago and it looks sweet.

Good luck with your decision Shannon. Are you planning to pull a toad/towed/you-know-what-I-mean if you get a diesel pusher?

Hey Shan Man. I saw a topic near the top that you started and I thought someone had resurrected a thread from the past.

Thanks for dropping in and stirring things up a bit.

And you probably don't know who this is by the forum name. I had an other account before the aforementioned "flush". I dropped off for a bit and forgot my password. Lost access to the original email address so I started over. Probably not a bad thing. I did keep signing my posts the same.

Good luck on the pusher. That sounds like some fun.

Shan-man by any chance were you at the Fort last November ?

Yes, we were there for the first two weeks: early enough to get a few days of F&W but late enough to catch MVMCP and Osborne... Santa needed to get into the Christmas Spirit since my first gig was the day after we got home!

Teamubr, yes, if we get a DP we will tow. I'm hoping to get a TandemTow so I can tow both a golf cart and our Prius V.

Golf Carts are to used by Seniors only, would have almost just as good. Glad to see you back.

Got me, but I didn't worry much because I don't hang out at that sign to drink anyway.
