New Passholder Preview Dates for FLE

Before I ask for help, I totally understand that this situation is MY problem not Disney's... I was able to secure a spot for the Fantasyland Preview on 11/3 hoping I could convince my husband to make the 18-20 hour round trip drive for the weekend. Well, it's just not going to work. Now they've released new dates which overlap with our trip planned 11/16-11/25. I was super excited only to quickly realize I am not able to switch dates. Which I understand because that would add chaos to an already chaotic thing but I could not find a CM to confirm whether or not I could cancel all together and try for one of the new spots taking the risk of not having a spot at all. Any suggestions or ideas? I would love an opportunity to experience some of the new parts of Fantasyland before it becomes crazy busy.

Previous poster mentioned was told would receive an email within 24 hours on registration. I also got a call Tuesday- around noon- and fwiw I was told would receive an email within 48 hours. Nothing yet as of Thursday afternoon. After all the snafus sort of expecting to be making a call in a few days trying to find out where my email might be. Luckily I have until the 12th.

Ok, I also got the phone call on Tuesday of this week. Picked a new date and was told to look for an email in 24 hours. Haven't seen one. The new info on the website says no further action is needed if we are already registered and have an email confirmation. Hmmm.... if I don't have an email confirmation by the time they go live with these new dates do I then need to take further action??? LOL! I am so confused and exhausted over this preview! :crazy2:

I have nothing yet, and I'm going on 4 days. I think we just have to be patient and trust that our requests will be honored. I suspect we won't see anything until at or just before open registration starts again. If I get an e-mail before that, I'll let you know.

If they are doing these previews for passholders (I'm not) then it probably won't be opened to the general public, right?

I'll be there from the 9th to the 17th of Nov but it looks like they have so many previews that theres no time for the public.

Another site advised me that most likely it will not be opened to the public.

I'm bummed!

Your best chance for a preview during those dates is to attend a MVMCP. It has been open for all MNSSHPs so far and that trend is expected to continue into MVMCP.

Haven't read the last few pages, so apolgoes if this is repetition. Emailed Disney yesterday. Got a call and signed up for preview date today. Was told that no confirmation emails had been sent yet to people like me, so don't worry if I don't get the confirmation email promptly. Was also told not share the information. No confirmation number or anything available. (took the CM's name because I am not the trusting type, particular when it comes to this sign up process). Hope that helps some people.

Thanks...but I don't want to spend $70 when I'm going to be at the MK 4 times that week. But that is cool that it has stayed opened during the parties!!

I can always wait until next November....it's not going anywhere ;)

This is comforting to know, thank you! :goodvibes

The new preview dates were released yesterday afternoon via Facebook, e-mail, and other means so there is no longer a need to keep them secret.

How do I know what info to have ready to register for the preview? I added all of our annual pass numbers to my page now, so is that all I need to do before trying to get a time slot when it opens? If they are listed on my page does that mean they are registered passes? Someone mentioned a son's birthdate, is there more info that they ask for? I'm alittle confused:confused3

Last time around, and I expect this time to be the same, we were advised to have each guest's name, AP number, and date of birth at the ready.

My understanding is that one AP holder only needs the Disney account to perform the signups, and that person can sign up for themself (is that a word?) and up to 7 others--and it doesn't matter if those other 7 are on the Disney account or not. Again, my understanding only.

It would be himself or herself, since you are referring to one person (singular) :) Forgive me - I'm a bit of a grammar fiend!

I was one of the lucky ones who got through during the original signups. I was able to register both myself and a friend of mine. I don't know if she has her pass registered online, but if she does it's not on my account. You do need full names, birthdays, and pass numbers for each member of your party. I would suggest typing that information into a Word document or something similar so you can just copy/paste when the time comes; it will save you time if you are registering several people.

Great idea. :thumbsup2

And no worries about the grammar. I recognized I had an issue there at least. I was about to say "his own self" for fun. ;)

To all other interested posters, I read on EasyWDW last night that Josh is anticipating an October 28 or 29 sign-up date. Don't know his source, though.

Just spoke with a CM in the Fantasyland Preview Dept (yes there is a deptartment just for this purpose within Guest Services now!), who said those that were signed up by phone should get their confirmation emails by Monday, as they plan to open up the new dates to all passholders on Monday.

Disney World Passholders
We are excited to share that we have added 11 new dates for New Fantasyland Previews for Passholders. The additional dates are November 6-9 and 12-18 with multiple time slots throughout each day. We are finalizing the sign up process and will provide more details soon.

If you already registered and have your email confirmation you do not need to take any further action.

Seems Disney realized that, with the timing of the soft opening, the local AP holders trying to see the FLE were going to put MK at max capacity for all of Thanksgiving weekend. Hope it works.

Just received the email and signed up. I was not expecting this on a Friday night.
Suppose to receive the confirmation around November 2nd.
Hope I get picked.
