New Orleanians going for Mardi Gras

This message is for those of you from NOLA going to WDW for Mardi Gras and anyone else that might enjoy reading it. I just returned from the World about 2 weeks ago. It was so nice to get away, enjoy a place that was clean, where late night munchies were always available, and to escape from what has happened in our city. While you are at WDW, savor every moment, take time to stop and appreciate the little details and I hope you will be proud to wear your purple, green and gold and bring some beads with you to hand out. I have done this on Fat Tuesday before and it's lots of fun. New Orleans has always been a great place for tourists to visit and it will bounce back again. Let's show everyone at Disney a little of our New Orleans magic - that in spite of what has happened we will never lose our spirit. Have fun and if you get a chance to stop by Port Orleans French Quarter, the beignets are wonderful!
