New or Rare characters

Okay i have a question.... the hard to find characters like the villains and the brer rabbit etc.... do these characters sign or just pose for photos???

Brer Rabbit signs, he did last time we saw him at the AK entrance. The villiams usually don't at the parties, but if you can find them at HS they will. There was a post a few weeks backthat Esmerelda from Hercules was out in France for Garden Fest. We saw Launchpad last Jan. Otherwise, it is usually the same characters unless a new movie is out.

It depends on the character, and when they are meeting. Some characters can't sign at all. Others can sign during the regular park hours, but can't during the special events (for example, the Villians during MNSSHP at the castle show- they do pictures only).

Any seen Jessica Rabbit? Maybe in Fantasyland? :flower3:

i would love to see Jessica Rabbit or Roger Rabbit..they are both cool but I dont think they have been out in years..I have over 100 character pics in my "Disney Character Pics" album at www.myspace.com/Stackin_chips if anyone is interested

I finally got to meet Jiminy Cricket last trip. I'm hoping to find Marie (from the Aristocats) next time.

I'm not sure how common he is but we got a pic of the Mad Hatter a couple of years ago and have only seen him that one time. Pretty cool he was in full Mad Hatter character, the kids sure got a kick out of him.

Mad Hatter is pretty common. He can be found at the Teacups at MK, and also at the 1900 Park Fare breakfast.

Here's a list of the characters we've met over the last four years. 134 in all. We hope to add another 20 with Star Wars Weekends.

We saw Marie and Friar Tuck last time at EPCOT. Those were two I've never seen before. We also had the Cinderella Mice randomly at a little off-road over by the American pavillion.

I don't know if it's every time it pours, but when we were in Epcot last time it was pouring (sideways in buckets) for over an hour. We went and waited to see the characters at the innovation building. And they brought out Max, some of the dwarfs, some of the bears from the old school movies and a bunch of other characters that I've never seen out when the weather is nice. It was really fun for the kids (and we bought ice cream there, so all was not lost!)!

Really? Looks like we will have to check out that spot every time we go to Epcot on our next trip just to see if there are different characters. When we went last year we saw the usuals, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy etc. We also saw Marie, Bell and Stitch.

I finally got to meet Jiminy Cricket last trip. I'm hoping to find Marie (from the Aristocats) next time.

We saw her in the Character Spot Innovations in Epcot, she is really soft and cute, with a sleepy look.

We also saw Marie in MK:

We were told some of the more rare characters tend to make an appearance during the evening EMHs. We saw both of the above, along with Prince John and Meeko during an evening EMH. All were located in the square by Town Hall.

During the day at MK, we did happen to see Jiminy Cricket and also Clarabelle and Horace Horsecollar. We saw all of them in the square by Town Hall.

Devine is the "vine lady's" name. :)

Thanks for the link love to the character finder, folks! There are lots of great character lists out there (I love wdwautographs), and if you are wanting to check the schedules appearances for a particular week, nobody touches Steve Soares.

That being said, our utility is also quite useful in that it is ket up to date by folks just like you - people who love characters, and visit the site to let everyone else know who thet saw, and when they saw them. Thanks to all who continue to contribute!

We saw Jiminy at Animal Kingdom. I think it was called Rafiki's Planet Watch??
You had to take a train there and back.

Yup, this is the best place to see him - Jiminy is appearing here daily.
