We'll be there for dinner superbowl Sunday too!! Are you hoping for a certain room to dine in??:)

I am not sure they let you pick... I like the look of the west wing, but as far as I know that's not open for dinner. I think I will tell them to put us wherever is convenient! We will likely split the charcuterie plate and each have a soup, with maybe a nice beer and a cupcake for dessert. Mmm. We are both light eaters, and love cheese and cured meat products! If famished, we might split an entree. Then we can wander Magic Kingdom until midnight! Very romantic evening. Hubby is looking forward to it.

By the way, the app seems to be improving. This time the reservation for BOG I made this morning showed up on the My Plans section without me having to enter it manually. I put it in my calendar with confirmation number just in case!

Ok, ok. I know all of you guys leaving like now are super excited, but I want to represent for the late Febuary's. :rotfl:

25 days. OMG. FINALLY.

So excited to stick my calender up for February!!!

West Wing is open. The ballroom with the dancing figurines is closed for dinner.

I've got my fingers crossed for the WW - love the look of that rose!

ETA: That's way bigger than I meant! Sorry! lol

For everyone who has been worrying about the recent posts on how crowded the parks have been...there is hope! I was looking at UT times posted and they are not bad at all.

TSM - 45 min
Little Mermaid - 20 min
BTM - 25 min
SM - 15 min
Soarin' - 35 min !!! That's pretty WOW for me!
EE - 10 min

I hope that it stays like this for the next couple of weeks! I am going Mardi Gras week so may be a little more crowded but this is definitely a good sign.

I woke up sick today too. We leave on tues, so I'm hopeful I'll feel better by then. I'm worried about giving it to the rest of my family though. :-(

Awesome. Will definitely request the west wing, as apparently young children are scared of it, and we enjoy darkness and thunder!! Thanks!

so excited about my frist trip to disneyworld:cool1: earlier this week my father in law who will be traveling with us and who has been spending a considerable amount of time with our family has tested positive for type A and type B flu!! :worried: Every one in my house now has sinus infection and ear infections...praying we dont end up with the flu we leave in 9 days!!! As for all of you that are sick I hope you feel better and you still enjoy your vacation!!

I was done with flu in five days, so hopefully you will now be healthy on your trip! My best wishes and the usual advice of chicken soup and haunting the Disney app for ride and reservation times!

Ugh- I am getting frustrated with the fact that I have done all the planning and all the packing for my family- as well as the planning of everything for my in-laws and sister-in law's family and today I called my MIL to ask for 1 thing (a plastic table cloth) and you would have thought I was asking for the moon!!!!!! I dont expect people to bow down to me and say thank you:worship: but some form of an acknowledgement would be nice. Furthermore, maybe asking something like "can I help with anything?" would show that you have the slightest bit of appreciation for all the time I have put into this :surfweb:. Ok- I just had to vent for a moment. Now I have to remind myself that I am doing this for my kids and that it will all be worth it in the long run. I am just tired right now from packing, planning, cleaning, parenting, etc. Consider this pity party over!:scared::sad:

Don't even worry about it! It's sad people can't have some appreciation, but you're absolutely right! You're doing it for your kids and when you get there all of this will be a distant memory!

Yay for everyone about to leave, and I hope everyone feeling sick gets better!!!

27 days :)

3 weeks and 3 days until we leave! I have the worst case of vacay fever ever! It's been almost 3 1/2 years since the whole family has been to the world. I was there last February for a couple of days, but not nearly long enough. We have done cruises instead of parks for a couple of years and are ready to get back!

Can't believe I'm just finding this thread. (and here I am a cruise critic junkie) Can I say WOW at all the info you people have. My gracious. We will be arriving at Fort Wilderness Cabins Feb 8th-11th. I thought I had done very well with all the planning I did with out help from here and now I'm reading so much my head is hurting. It's all going to be great and like lots of others I'm looking at the weather daily. Last year we were in WDW same time and the weather was different every day. From warm at AK to freezing at the MK. (and yes it was freezing) Oh let the magic begin!!!

Can it be vacation now please?

I've been busy and doing ok with the waiting but I am creeping up on 3 weeks and all I want is for it to be time to go!!! I'm like a little kid!
Tomorrow is my birthday. I don't care. I want to go to Disney:rotfl:
We're having a nice dinner out on Friday and dh said to book any tour or special thing I wanted for our Disney trip (within reason) and I can't think of anything:worried:

I think it might be too late for most things I am interested in (Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage mostly), and I am not sure I want to do any tours. I know that sounds whiny but I really don't know what I'd like to do. Any suggestions at this late date? We've already seen Cirque and while it was wonderful I wouldn't feel right spending that much to go again. I am just stumped.

ONE WEEK!!!!!!

I can't believe we are going to be telling our boys this time next week and leaving - I hope you all have amazing trips, lots of lovely sunshine and no queues!!

How do you plan on telling them? Will you tell them the day of or the night before? I think we're going for the night before.
