6 days!!

Today we all have appointments with the dentist just to be sure there's no problem. I'd hate to be at Disney and suffer from a toothache.

Bags are packed (I'm a natural early packer!) with a clothes for all seasons. Glad I can have two free checked bags, traveling for 22 days results in lots of clothes! No, there will be no laundry done during this trip, I refuse to spend vacation time dealing with laundry.

There is also something called Tipsy Ducks in Love that sounds disgusting. Creamy Cold tea and coffee combo blended with bourbon whiskey and chocolate. Yuk.

thanks for that link! the duck one sounds so bad i might have to try it. I do love my coffee!! and chocolate...

Last night DH decided he'd like to request the 3rd floor, (no noise from above, shouldn't be lots of people walking by) so I called up to make our request.

Anyone doing the Fantasmic show early February? What should I expect as far as lines? I didn't get the dinner package since they only had lunch available...Wonder how the lines will be...should I get in line a whole hour before or 30 mins will suffice?

Also, what is the word on teh Beauty and the Beast and Tea Cups?

I can't believe we are going to be telling our boys this time next week and leaving - I hope you all have amazing trips, lots of lovely sunshine and no queues!!

Ahhh finally in the single digits -- 9 more days!! 2 more until we're in February and I don't have to keep moving the calendar over a month to check on new ADRs--any way to get it done faster helps.

7 Days to go!!!

We are planning to see it on Feb 7th. I'm not expecting it to be full. We've gone in as late as ten minutes before show time and had decent seats. They fill up sections at a time, so you can get a row close to the front if you are lucky enough to be there when they are opening up a new section.

We are planning to get there about 15 minutes ahead of time. Those bleachers eats are very uncomfortable and the less time spent sitting on them, them better.

ETA: to the best of my knowledge, the tea cups are open and Sleeping Beauty will be closed. I hope I'm wrong about Sleeping Beauty.

Yes, and there is lots of clothes left on the hangers! I admit my closet is awfully big though, it's kinda of an addiction!

DD birthday day is 2/6 too. That's our MK day with BBB and lunch at CRT.

I hope your DD has a wonderful birthday!! We will be going again in 2 years when our oldest turns 10 and will take him on the AK safari. Your DD's special day sounds wonderfu!

Well, kids... we are leaving tomorrow (late check-in) and I will be busy, busy busy up until that moment. So this will probably be the last you see of me.

I just wanted to thank you all of our fun little thread and for all of the fabulous advice! I will probably be checking in at some time during the trip and will try to answer any questions you all might have about anything specific.

BTW - for you late Feb travelers - I don't mean to be rubbing salt in the wound..... really! I almost feel guilty for my post. But don't worry, when you guys are getting ready to venture out, many of us will be suffering from a bad case of Post-Disney-Blues.

Was doing my morning pre-trip check of the My Disney Experience app to compare wait times with my scheduled trip day next week. Thought just for fun I would check for a BOG opening on Super Bowl Sunday. Have checked many times over past two months and it was always unavailable on every day of my Feb. 1-7 trip. Today, it said "call for reservations"!!! So I called and was able to book an 8:05 pm reservation for two!!! Wasn't really planning on three ADRs on the QS plan, but at child price we can use the QS for breakfast and lunch and still come out ahead.

Yippee!!! So any other non-football fans might want to check!

Last day of work before trip. I'm going to look for a comfy pair of pocketed pants as my jeans are a tiny bit tight to walk all day in, and lovely weather is predicted. Have to pack too, but that is simple; very casual traveler here.

I'm so excited!!!
