Hello everyone! I'm very new to the boards! Been reading for a couple months now but just recently started posting. We leave in one week! We'll be at ASM Feb 5-12! It's me, DH, DD (age 2.5 first trip!!) & MIL, FIL, & SIL! This is our first time on the dining plan. We have ADRs for breakfasts at Tusker House & Ohana, lunches at Mama Melrose (fantastic dining package) & Trex, & dinners at planet Hollywood, chef Mickey, & akershus!

Ooh!!Ooh!!! We're going too!! YIPPEE!!! We'll be there this Friday to check out the new Fantasyland, and Saturday at the tequila bar in Mexico . Haven't been there since November and having Mickey withdrawal BIG TIME!! Staying with friends who live nearby since it's just a quickie Mickey trip .

So we are down to 2 days before leaving. My boss just told me that my husband and I can get off at 12:30 to get ready to leave so we aren't up driving for 24 hrs with little ones in the car. Called POP to get a room reservation for the 31st and was told they are booked up I guess we will be sleeping in the car in POPs parking lot. But oh well at least we will be at park opening on Friday

I've noticed that the Mickey Path tickers count differently than the WDW site too. It's a little odd.

I just made some last minute fun Disney trip plans
Our good friends and neighbours are doing a couples trip to run the Princess Half while we are down there. They won't be spending any time in the Disney parks but for the race. Most of their trip will be at Universal. However, I was thinking today that we really need to go see them and cheer them on at some point so we just talked to them. We're going to meet for a meal at some point that weekend but we're also going to get up nice and early to see them run by and cheer for our buddies
Kind of neat to see people you see every day in a whole different setting. It'll be nice to catch up for a meal and each of our families have their own seperate vacations too.

My ticker changes based on the time I set it I think. It will say 25 days at 10am but then sometime before 1 or 2pm it changes to 24 for example. So I am guessing I set it in the morning and it resets based on that?
I'm not sure though. And the Disney site can't even tell me where any of my reservations are so I don't count on it for anything really

Mango gingerita??!! i havent heard of that one and i've been researching! I LOVE mangoes and ginger so this is definitely on my list.

There is also something called Tipsy Ducks in Love that sounds disgusting. Creamy Cold tea and coffee combo blended with bourbon whiskey and chocolate. Yuk.

So excited for everyone- including our family. This has been a labor of love that has taken a year to put together including trip planing, hair bow making, t-shirt making (I'll post pictures soon), buying little room gifts for each day we are there (hello Target Dollar bin), earning gift cards from online sites, you name it. I am so ready for this. We leave on Friday and get to the cabins on Sunday (stopping to see family along the way). Safe travels to all

Same here. I started planning this trip February 2011. I made room only reservations with AAA October 2011. Since June 2012 I started buying items from Target, Dollar Tree, etc. I started requesting Disigns for tees and invites back in October. Made ADRs @ 180D mark. Ordered princess tees from DisneyStore.com when on sale and free shipping. Every month since August I've purchased a Disney Gift Card. We even booked Disney Event Photographers for an Enhanced Photo Session @ Epcot. Celebrating DD 5th birthday and 1st visit. Also, DH 1st visit. My mother and I haven't been in 15 years. Some friends and family joining us too. Completed 3 iron-ons today. Yeah! Pick up invites, stroller tags, journal from print company tomorrow.

So I know all about Disney vacation being a true labor of love. We'll be leaving on Friday to stay overnight for airplane on Saturday. Saturday 6:10 am, here we come!

Not sure why I haven't seen this thread before, but we fly down from Buffalo on Feb 6 (my birthday!) and home on Feb 12th. We are staying at POR. This will be our first time on site with the DDP with our kids (dh and I have stayed at Wilderness Lodge on our honeymoon and at POFQ before we had kids). We are excitedly counting down the days!!!

DD birthday day is 2/6 too. That's our MK day with BBB and lunch at CRT.
