Our flight leaves at 6:35 am tomorrow morning, 20 minute drive to the airport parking to catch the shuttle, ugh, that means like 4:00 am wake-up call to get up, get the kids dressed, and out the door by 4:30 am -- hope the Disney buzz will keep me awake!

DH and I did that last Thursday...has to be up at 3:45am. The Disney buzz definitely kept both of us going!!! And we had quite the journey from Tucson to Disney. I think it will keep you going, too!! Have so much fun!!!!!!

Last (extra long!) day of work before Disney, this time Sunday we'll be on our way to the airport!! Pixie dust to all my fellow Disneyers!

We arrived at CSR about an hour and a half ago. The CM told us our room was ready. We walked 180 around the resort to find our room was NOT ready. Had to walk ALL the way back to the lobby. They apologized and said they would have mousekeeping make up the room right away and then give us a call. So far no call. I know check in is not really until 3:00 but it was such a lonnggg walk and back, especially in jeans and a long sleeve top in 84 degrees. Still more fun than being at work! LOL

I don't think the CM really asked mousekeeping to make our room up right away as it's been two hours and it's still not ready. The good news is that since check in is 3:00 our room should be ready in no more than 90 more minutes. LOL

No. Neither hubby nor I wanted to change in the dirty lobby bathrooms. Plus he likes to nap when we first arrive. That being said, at 2:30 I finally decided to walk over to our room just to look and see if it had been made and if our magic bands worked. Sure enough the room was made, the magic bands work, and our suitcase has been delivered by magical express. Wonder how long the room has been ready?? We waited three hours for them not to call!! The last time we checked with them was 1:40 and they still said the room wasn't ready. Listed as "dirty" I was told at 12:30.

Now that I am FINALLY in my room and freshened up before heading over to Epcot ... I don't think anyone has mentioned or else I missed it, the little glow in the dark rubber slider they give you to put on your magic band. I assume this is to help them identify who gets to stay for evening EM hours. It says 2013 in blue and has a classic black Mickey head on it.

I don't think anyone has mentioned or else I missed it, the little glow in the dark rubber slider they give you to put on your magic band. I assume this is to help them identify who gets to stay for evening EM hours. It says 2013 in blue and has a classic black Mickey head on it.

But I thought only resort guests were receiving MBs, so all would be allowed in for EMH. Perhaps because there are so many MB out there now?

Oh well that's true. Maybe it's so the bands are more visible to CMs at night?

Hmm, whatever could it be for? Maybe you should poll every CM you come across. See how many different answers you can get.
