We leave tomorrow!!!! I am done the regular clothes packing. I just have the extra stuff chargers, iPad and get the kids to pack their backpacks when they get home. I'm so excited!!

We were just watching the news and saw the story about the possible terrorist dry run on a United flight on 9/2 from Reagan National to Orlando. So now I am a little nervous since we are flying out of Reagan.

It was on CBS news last night. I only heard part of it so I asked DH where the flight was headed to and he said Orlando. I thought he was messing with me but I Googled "united flight 1880 on sept 2" and found the story on several news websites including USA Today.

Well it's over a week now and my Disney Visa Rewards gift card has not arrived. Starting to think it's not coming or at least not before I leave on the 18th. The last time I ordered a card I had it in less than a week. I wonder if it doesn't come before my trip if Guest Services can somehow void the one that seems to be lost in the mail and reissue a new one?

We are down to 8 days!

Work has been so busy and stressful the last couple of weeks that I haven't had time to pull things together for our trip. I even had a dream recently that I woke up at our resort and realized I didn't pack any clothes for myself! But work is finally calming down so I should be able to focus more on Disney trip prep!

We are down to 7 days. I have a list but I haven't looked at it much. Will just use it as a final check list. So far I packed my clothes and pajamas but I realized I still need to pack undergarments! Can't forget those!

Just arrived at Pop Century. I was wearing my magic band when we went through the security gate. They scanned my magic band instead of looking at my photo ID. They also said that it alerts the front desk that you have arrived so they can get your check-in packet ready. Sure enough, we walked right up and it was ready.

I was told to have our MB out and ready for ME though, so bet that works (or will work) the in the same way to alert them you are coming?

Hi there! Hopefully your rewards redemption card will arrive before you go but if not, just know that last time we were at Disney (4/12) we had a problem with one of our redemption cards and we went to the Guest services kiosk outside of the entrance to EPCOT and they were able to get us a new card. They put me on the phone with Chase Visa and then were able to cancel the other card and give me a new one. So it is definitely possible.
