I did a couple of months ago, and I want to say it took 1-2 weeks? I didn't get a confirmation email (just checked). I remember being nervous about it arriving too.

Thanks for your reply! Helps put my mind at ease! I ordered exactly two weeks in advance of our trip (although I forgot about Columbus Day) so I'm sure it will be fine. I just recall the last time the card came super fast so I was kind of surprised I haven't gotten it already even though it's only been five business days.

Has anyone redeemed their Disney Visa rewards for a Disney gift card lately? I ordered one last Thursday and it zeroed my points out but I never got an email confirming my order or an email saying it's been shipped. I could swear in the past I have gotten confirmation emails. And then the cards came super quick. I looked online and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to click order history to verify anything. So I just called and the customer service rep said she sees I ordered on 10/3 and that at the end of the transaction I should have been provided with a confirmation #. Maybe I am wrong but I didn't see any confirmation number. So I guess all I can do is wait.

Last time we went to WDW I stopped at guest services at Downtown Disney and got them to load my points on a card right there. All I had to do was make a quick call and activate it. That way you don't have to play the waiting game while it's in the mail. I'll be doing that again Saturday when we go to Downtown Disney. Then I can use my reward points to buy some yummy offerings at the Food & Wine festival!!!

What a great thread. We arrive on the 22nd with our first day in the parks is on the 23rd. Can anyone advise on the weather? We are coming from Barbados where it is always hot so don't really have anything for cool weather for our 4 year old DS. I am assuming days we can do shorts and t-shirts but was wondering if a long sleeve shirt will be sufficient for staying to see the light parade and fireworks at MK. I am so excited...13 more sleeps until we start our trip to introduce our DS to the most magical place on earth.

I leave on Monday and I still have not really started pre-packing. My washing machine is broke so I cannot do laundry. My sister (who is also my roommate) invited my Mother up for the weekend. So I have spent the last two days cleaning.
Yeah.. close to Panic. My mother is not leaving till Sunday afternoon (the day before I go)
Did I mention My best friend's birthday party is this weekend too?

Sunday afternoon, will have to be a trip to the Laundromat followed by a late night of packing.

Not the way I wanted to do it, but the way it will be.

We are 8 days out. I usually start packing the small things (rain ponchos, flip flops) 5-6 weeks in advance but I have been wayyyy more relaxed this year. I started packing the small things maybe 4 weeks out and last weekend I started putting some clothes in the suitcase too but I still am not nearly as far along as I normally would be. I'll probably be in full blown panic mode this weekend because after the weekend I only have the hours between when I get home from work and when I go to bed to pack and do last minute things around the house before we leave. Oh, not to mention I'm afraid to go in the laundry room to do wash because we have a problem with snakes getting in. Caught at least five in the last few months.

I have several iterations of my pack list printed, I just get to work, it's slow, so I go through and update the pack list and print another one off to take home. I am driving myself insane! It's like there are always 1-2 items to keep me from having any one suitcase/bag completely packed! (been planning this trip a bit too long)

So excited!! We're down to single digits in days to go! Our group will be me, my DH, DD, mom, dad, brother and SIL. We will be arriving oct 20 and leaving oct 26, staying at POR. We are doing MNSSHP Oct 24th, already posted on the guest list thread. No solid ADRs.
