New nightly rate?

I'm curious to see if anyone has come across changing from regular season to value during their stay and if you are still being told that you would have to check out and check back in to get the lower value rate like in the past?

I was wondering if this new per night rate is going to eliminate us from having to do that. We are planning on checking in on Thanksgiving and starting on Saturday we would be able to use the public code we are all anxiously awaiting to arrive this morning. I have never had to check out/in for the same trip so this new rate system would be great for us if it worked that way.

Anyone come across this?

Whether or not it's true - I don't know.

But I was told by a cast member that they have moved away from the season based pricing to the date based pricing effective immediately. So - it's worth a shot, but if that transition has been made - it won't matter if you check out and check back in - you'd be getting the same pricing.
