New News regarding Nov./Dec. Promotions?

I wish the same... i wish we could give our pins away. I have received 2 so far and cant use them due to the fact that they have no Nemo rooms available for FD in Nov. I am now hoping for a room discount as well. With only 2 adults and 1 child under 3 there shouldnt be much of a difference if we can atleast get a room discount.

Just my opinion, it is your vacation but is a Nemo room really going to make that much difference to a 2 year old? Really would he even know Nemo rooms existed if you didn't get one? We took my DGS last year when he was 2 and by the time we got to the room each night, he was passed out!!! FD is tough to pass up.

Many of those who were waiting have received it now. Feeling like a sole survivor on a sinking ship, but I am still hanging on. Really hope it is offered to the public, but another month to two months of waiting may kill me.

I am on that sinking ship with you! My co-worker got a snail mail pin today and was so excited thinking she could give it to me, she couldn't believe it when I told her it was non-transferable. Getting so discouraged. It's like they are playing with me now!

I agree about the 2 year old. but she truly does love Nemo and to answer your question about "would she know the nemo rooms even existed" there would not be much difference in saying i doubt that she would even know dinsey world existed if we didnt take her. With only 2 adults and we would still upgrade the free dining there would not be much of a difference if any at all if we could get a room discount. If we dont get one then we will cross that bridge then. but to see her excitment is the main goal in the trip, if it takes a couple hundered more it will be well spent.

Can you book a Cars or Lion King room for now and just switch if a pin becomes available or try to change the room theme upon check-in? I figure worse case, she would still be seeing all the Nemo decor and pool outside even if you don't end up getting a room.
BTW, I'm definitely with her, the Nemo rooms are the best! Of course, if I were able to stay there, I would have to stay at Cars for my middle son. Oh the sacrifices we make!

My mom got the PIN today via snail mail....I almost cried! She's not coming with us in Dec...sniff sniff. Joining the few that haven't gotten the Pin yet :-(. This is depressing

I am in the "waiting for a PIN club too". I haven't decided which one I prefer yet..RO or FD. Honestly, any old PIN will do. Lol

I couldn't wait to take my grandson even though he probably wouldn't have known the difference if we took him to a local amusement park!! But to see the look on his face as he saw characters from his favorite tv shows/movies was worth everything to me! I hope you all enjoy the trip!

I booked 12/3-12/8 two days ago. I was hoping for at least AAA but there were no rooms left at Port Orleans Riverside. After I booked two rooms, the CM stressed to me to keep an eye out for room discounts -- that I could call and have a discount applied. I have done this in the past but this is the first time a CM mentioned it. I am hopeful that she knows something I don't!

On another note, I will be going in 18 days for a first ever mother-daughter trip and I just realized after reading another post that there might be a bounce back for my December dates while I am there! Anyone know if my dates are included? Thanks!
