New News regarding Nov./Dec. Promotions?

I have been hearing a lot more people say they are being told no more free dining this year. It concerns me a little, but I know they really don't know any more than we do. We are still keeping the faith together, right!!!

That's always a possibility, but every year people say it won't happen, and it does. I think we just wait and see, and hope for the best!

Very true! I never give up until the official promotion is announced. I am pretty sure something will be offered. Hoping for free dining though anything will help.

As usual the"no FD" talk is in the air....I still believe that as long as the bookings for late fall are about the same as they have been in years past, FD WILL be available again this year.It's all about getting people in the rooms on site and trying to keep us and our $$$$ in the"Disney Bubble".My money says there WILL be FD in late fall.....if not,Disney may have to rethink their strategy when they come up short.

Did my weekly call... still no PIN. Cast member was very nice. Said not to get worried... PIN promo's are the first wave then they release to the GP, which we pretty much know, but just good to hear same thing from a CM. So, still waiting

Many of those who were waiting have received it now. Feeling like a sole survivor on a sinking ship, but I am still hanging on. Really hope it is offered to the public, but another month to two months of waiting may kill me.

I wish I could gift my FD pins to people. I've got one in email and one in postal mail (postal mail one came Saturday) but it's not available for the days I'm going (12/7-12/10). I'm also in the camp where I'd prefer a room discount over FD. Not holding my breath at this point, though.

I think a room only discount will come out to the general public, but it will probably have similar blackout dates. Good luck!!!!

I think I'm in the minority but I would rather a room discount. I think I'm going to be out of luck for my dates though. I guess if nothing else comes out, my 15% off from AAA will have to do.

always get Free Dining so I've never used my AAA card to get a discount. But, I probably won't get anything from Disney for the Friday after Thanksgiving. I have a room only booked for that night through Disney. How would I go about getting a AAA discount for it? Can Disney do it? Or do I have to go through AAA.

If it is room only and there are discounts available, Disney can do it.

I wish the same... i wish we could give our pins away. I have received 2 so far and cant use them due to the fact that they have no Nemo rooms available for FD in Nov. I am now hoping for a room discount as well. With only 2 adults and 1 child under 3 there shouldnt be much of a difference if we can atleast get a room discount.
