New Mystery Item Hint!!!!!

How much have you spent this month so far? I know I play all week just to buy a FRACTION of what I wanted to buy before Monday rolls around again. I think VMK was just warning us that there would be lots to buy all month.

Not being able to get beyond level 2 on fireworks makes credit earning very difficult. VMK really is skewed right now to let the good fireworks have the ability to buy and buy and buy. They need to redesign how the credit allocation in that game works when the first to levels pay out zero. Even Ned gives more than than if you take a nap on the cruise.

Anyway - I think "save those credits" was a general statement for the month. So much to buy every week. But, of course, none of us know anything for sure - and that's part of the game, isn't it.

About the fireworks, don't take it offensively, but these are hard earned credits. I spent about 6 months spending ALL my VMK time, just to get 240,000. If anything, I wish I had chosen pirates instead. It isn't really worth it at first to get good at the game in the first place. My best score is now only about 272,000 and I have probably played the game about... say 200-300 times. Please don't critisize us for working hard to get credits :guilty:

Um, hello? She wasn't criticizing you. She was criticizing how the credits are given out in that game. I have played Fireworks a lot and the closest I've gotten is 238k. Work my butt off to get 675 or so credits. I believe the credit amount you get from 240k is huge, so Dreams was just referring to how those that get 240k or above are able to buy countless amounts of things, while those good in Pirates, Ghosts, and Cruise can't. Let me say that again: she was not hating on the players, but hating on the system.

Let me remind you how messed up the Fireworks Credit Prizes go:

You get 150 if you get passed level 3.
You get 300 if you get into the final round.
You get 375 for passing 200k.
You get an awful lot for passing 240k.
You get a fraction of the credits if you come in first.

Most messed up scoring ever.

Once again, not criticizing you: critcizing the system.

I'm terrbile at Pirates most times, but I have managed in Capture the Flag to get around 250 credits in games that took around 2 minutes. Multiply that times 5, and that's 1,250 credits in 10 minutes. Fireworks games take a minimum of 10 minutes, and the max payout is 1,300. So, I don't see much of a difference there because Pirates games can be so short. Yes, you play more games in Pirates, but generally it takes less time, if that makes any sense. If you're great at Pirates (esp. Capture the Flag), I would think it would about even out with Fireworks credit-wise when you take time into consideration. Jungle Cruise is a whole other issue of course, and HM can take a very long time to play, so you aren't going to get a comparable payout to Fireworks in 10 minutes time.

WOW! Someone is looking up to the skies! If it's a room, so help me Hannah (a saying my great-grandmother always said), I'm getting that room!

I doubt it's a room, I think we would have seen it, or at least heard about it.

It's a mysterey item were not supposed to hear about it

What I meant by that was that most rooms have bugs in them. They had to test the Space Mountain room for a while to be sure the bugs were out. :)

Sounds like you got a point there but maybe there somehow doing it secertly

For Passing 240k and losing, you get 1,300.
For coming in first, no matter how many points you get, it's 675 (300 for reaching level 5 & 375 for winning).

So yeah. The system is messed up.

I do believe they should totally revamp the credits for that game.
At the very least, give some sort of credits for those that try playing.

And right now, it's difficult to get past level 2 even if you're somewhat decent at the game. I can somewhat regularly get 240k. But, sometimes when several of the really good players are with you in a game, you get kicked out of the game before you can reach level 3. I've had that happen a few times lately.

I'm also thinking that the mystery item may be the pumpkin candy bag. :)

Thought I would bump this thread up if anyone was in the mood for last minute guesses...

Come on Oogie! Roll those snake eyes and win me a Halloween-themed room!

I really doubt it will be a holiday specific room. My real thoughts are that it is the new pumpkin candy/penny press.

I certainly hope that's what it is anyways. :teeth:

Just a couple hours and we'll see! :teeth:

Well, it'll be a little more than two hours. LOL

More like 9 1/2. :thumbsup2

Of course, I won't find out until later than that since I'll be stuck at work. :(

Well, that picture definitely made it look like it'd be a room. But like others, I have a hard time believing they would release a holiday-specific room. My guess is either the nifty new Trick or Treat bag thingy ( not sure what to call it, so bear with me! :rotfl2: ) or a magic, simply because it said to save those credits. If it was something like a hat for 1,000 credits, I don't think they'd tell us that. Then again, watch it be exactly that: some kind of hat.

Anywho, whatever it is, I hope it's not too insanely priced. SorcererDonald has a meager 23,000 credits to her name after she (yes she; it certainly wasn't my fault! :rolleyes1 ) goofed and wasn't paying attention and accidentally bought 9 full Native American outfits and 4 extra headdresses. I started the week with 22,500, got it back up to around 75,000, and down it went yet again.

My mom has maybe 40 credits and has only bought 1 of each thing except 2 pins per week (only 1 bat magic though), and my main mule has around 146, and she only bought one of each thing sold only this week (no bat magic for her! She shall be deprived of that, whether she likes it or not ;) ). Never did get around to earning credits on that character last week to get those outfits. Oh well! :lmao:

A carved pumpkin room seen from the inside would be funny but well I dont think it is gonna be a room..

For the record, the mystery item was the trick-or-treat candy dispenser.

In other news, Yavn was on this morning and said next week's item will be even better. If I had to venture a guess, I think a new room is coming.

lol So much for a super expensive item! Are you sure the mystery item was the candy dispenser, though? I thought all mystery items were hats, so I thought it would be the Jafar hat.

I'm telling ya...Yavn told us in a newsletter to save our credits back in August...then again in the newsletter this week he said (in regards to what is coming out soon)..something like:

and wait until you see.....oh yea, can't tell you yet!

Then again another hint about saving credits?? I'd get as many as you can before Monday
i just realized.............. it's because most of us are on everyday, so for the normal person who didn't go on everyday, you would have to start saving credits in august........................
