New MyPoints Credit Card

Has anyone checked out the new Mypoints Mastercard information yet? I just saw it on their site today and wondered if it was as good a deal as it seemed to be. Info on the site said:


• 1 Point for every $2 you spend, online and off
• Earn additional Points when you use your card to shop online at MyPoints.com
• $0 liability for unauthorized purchases
• Retail Purchase Protection

Also said no annual fee.

It sounds pretty good to me, but I have never had a rewards credit card before. Just wondering what my Rewards Board buddies think of this.

This has been discussed elsewhere on the board in the past week or two. People didn't seem to think it was as good a deal as some of the other reward cards out there, including the Disney Visa (which gives you 1% off all purchases).

And I believe someone said that the additional points for shopping through MyPoints was just the standard points you get for shopping through MyPoints with any other credit card.
