Yes. It seems crazy the way it starts, but take what it offers for all 4 of you together. Then go back in & change the times of the things you want together to fit what you want. Then change the 3rd experience for just you & dd to something else. Then change dh & ds experience to space mtn.
When you changing times or experiences, it lets you select who you are changing, so you can do 2 at a time.
I would definitely do all 4 together first though, then change the 3rd experience. Easier than trying to get same times for 2 pairs on 2 rides! Hope that helps!

Curious if any AP's have had any issue making FP+? We have a week booked at Port Orleans Riverside and have customized our Magic Bands but are unable to book FP+. My husband was told when he called that AP's are limited to 14 days of FP+ and we have previous weeks already booked at SSR & AKL. Seems to be true but wondered if anyone else encountered this?

Yes we have issues if we link any reservations so we have moved our DVC reservations over into fake names and will change them back to our own names the day or two before. It was limiting me to 3 days of FPs now with that very far in the future reservation.

I have never been able to book 14 days with the AP but we also did not have any stays of more than 1 night so that is likely why.

Just was able to customize bands go my January 24th arrival. Tried to pick fastpasses and it let me get as far as picking members of my party and then told me my date wasn't eligible.

I'm 73 days out, so I can't see much on the website for FP+. I called MS since there are members of our party who may not have passes by the 60 day window (or even before we arrive). She said I could try to "copy" our FPs. Can anyone explain this? She tried, but since I haven't done a FP+ yet, this makes no sense to me.

I just booked a BOG lunch fastpass plus using the website link, it's not showing up on my disney experience, anybody else had that happen? We leave tomorrow and I'm worried about showing up and there being nothing on my band showing BOG.

We were in the same position last weekend. It didn't show up on my MDE. But there was no problem when we went to the window. They had a list from the website.

In the rope drop line, I overheard some people who had tried the day before and had asked lots of questions when they checked in. The cast member ended up not letting them in after they admitted they had not been invited to use the website. So I just acted confident, didn't ask questions, and didn't provide any extra info. We had no problem at all.

Many people have been able to make their FP+ selections beyond the January 5th date. It seems it's not universal though. Some can only make selections for certain parks or certain rides. I was able to customize my bands today but can't get in to FP+ yet and I am end of January.

Are there little characters or something that you can clip into the magic band? Kind of like the little things you clip into crocs? My daughter and I both have pink bands and I would like to be able to tell them apart

We just had lunch today with our BOG FP+ booked online. I did make a print out and take it with me- I also took a pic of the computer screen LOL- I have no faith in WDW technology but didn't need either. There is nothing sent or connected to ur MDEx. Just check in at the booth to the left before crossing the bridge to BOG.

We passed a loooong line waiting and were escorted to the order line. We were even able to make adjustments to 2 of our 3 orders at the register. They scanned my band and we went off to find a seat.

We have had dinner twice in the main ballroom on previous trips, so DGrD10 was thrilled to find a table in the west wing. You serve yourself for drinks and utensils - lunch was rolled up in an enclosed cart about ten minutes after we were seated. It was very good - we all loved our lunch break here! Enjoy!

Yes. I saw them in the resort gift shop. Didn't see them at the parks but I suppose I could've missed them

Of course...they rolled out a whole line of bling.

Yes, there are bling items to add to the bands. Also, your name will be printed underneath to distinguish between the MBs.

I'm sorry if this has already been asked but we received our MB on our September trip while staying at POR. We are talking about going back in March and staying off property at our timeshare. Do the MB have to be activated on property to be used? If not, could I just go to My Disney Experience and customize my MB from September with FP+ for March?

If she's named on the onsite resort reservation, then she'll get a MagicBand.

There is no "activation"

They were emitting the signal on the ups truck to your house and will continue to do so until they fail...though obviously they have to be in range of the equipment to perform any function.

Bear in mind though... That the Disney hotel reservation is currently the "gateway" to alot of the features. As of now...the one real benefit...the prebooked fastpass... Can only be achieved if the system has you staying onsite... Subject to change.

Tickets would be on there if linked... In the future I'm sure "charging privileges" not tied to a hotel
Folio will be there as well.

I'm sure that dining reservations are now "scanned" to cut down on staff and make things smoother (if not...will be so very quickly)...
But really - who cares?
