So if you have a FP for a ride that goes down you can use it at another ride???
Really?.

Yes. Forgive me if it wasn't, but was this asked in a mocking manner? Because I don't remember reading it before I left, and then didn't realize afterwards until I got the e-mail (which I read too late). If we were really distressed about losing our FP I would have found a CM, but we were at Epcot so didn't really see the need.

Yes there is a matrix of rides that it will be accepted at. But if TT goes down, you cannot get access to Soarin and vice versa.
Ooh, FP+ includes a ride matrix! FP+ is so easy!

I guess I don't get the problem. TT is down, I'm not getting on it regardless. So an anytime FP to any other ride in Epcot (other than Soarin) doesn't seem like an awful thing.
From everything I have read, it is possible ... just have them swap bands for him to ride using her FP (of course, it would have to be within that same window!) ... not sure how anyone could prevent that (or if they would care)?![]()

I'm SO glad to hear this bc I read on another thread that someone was stopped because swiping the MB brought up the name of the MB owner on the CM's iPad and it was a female name and a male family member had the MB.
Kellyjeanie not sure what you mean but I have been going to WDW for the last 13 years in a row and never read you could use a FP for a out of service ride for any other ride. I have of course gotten the any ride trade in FP at an out of service rides. This will be our first use of FP+ so maybe with the new plan the lingo is a little different.
I only comment for info not to mock others.![]()
The PP did not say at any other ride, but a "matrix of rides".
How about coming back later to the ride you have FP+ for and it still being honored?

If the ride you had a FP+ for comes back online them yes your FP+ is still good there.
If you are in AK, your FP+ is good for any other FP+ ride in the park. Their matrix is simple. In the MK and EP, it is more limited. I forget if HS has a similar matrix as EP.
Does anyone know if a rental at Saratoga will be eligible for FP+.

I just tried making my first reservation and when I try making a reservation for my dh and ds for space mountain, it is recommending 2 other fast passes and trying to get me to reserve those. Well, I want all 4 of us to have 2 fastpass reservations the same, but dh and ds want their 3rd one to be space mountain and dd and I want our 3rd one to be something else. The system is not letting me do that. ANy work around?
I would reserve them separately and pick the same 2 as us for the rides we want together, but I'm afraid it isn't going to give us the same times. I put us all 4 in and it gave different times from when I tried to do dh and ds together.
Curious if any AP's have had any issue making FP+? We have a week booked at Port Orleans Riverside and have customized our Magic Bands but are unable to book FP+. My husband was told when he called that AP's are limited to 14 days of FP+ and we have previous weeks already booked at SSR & AKL. Seems to be true but wondered if anyone else encountered this?
