I have my MB and some fast passes made. Staying at GF. But now I'm thinking of doing a split stay and switching to AKL as I really love this resort. Does anyone know what this does to my MB? We leave Nov 8.

We 're doing a split stay with BWI first then moving to AKL - we'll be arriving in just under 3 weeks. We were issued two sets of magic bands - one for each part of the stay. The annoying part is since our 10 day park hoppers are attached to the BWI stay and the AKL is room only - when we move to AKL our passes will still be linked to the original set so we'll end up having to carry both. Not sure if there will be a way for AKL to link them when we get there...

It shows our reservations but nothing about tickets. 6 day park hopper tickets are part of our package. How do I get the tickets to show on my Disney Experience?

It's in other innovations building from character spot and across from where's the fire exhibit ( or whatever is there now), around corner from old Segway training thingie. Basically it's black curtains and a sign. I believe the meet is from 1p est to 7p est. you have to show Disney Visa card at head of line before being let in to see Characters. They will give you a voucher to claim your photo at camera store under Space ship earth by end of that night.

Do you know how long it approximately takes to get thru the line and photo taken? We have dinner reservations at 6:15 p.m. and I wanted to get this done before that....I thought I could get in line for the meet and greet/photo at about 5:15???? and still make it on time for my reservation? but I'm hoping you say it might only take 30 minutes and I could get in line at about 5:30? What do you think? thanks for your help!!

Seeing the joy in your child's face as they see their fav movie character in person..
It's the same joy an adult gets seeing their fav. Actor, In Person.. (Only in this case, they can talk, and hug them)

Lines can be VERY long for them.. Has some can talk and play with the children..

I will be chaperoning a group of 130 high school students to WDW in November of this year. So, I have a number of questions.

1) Will we all be issued Magic Bands
2) If we are issued them will they be room keys and park tickets
3) When will we get them.

The Magic Bands are new since we went 2 years ago (as well as the RFID refill mugs) so we could have lots of students with incorrect information.

You should be getting them without asking as backup. I'm there in 9 days and won't leave the front desk without teem. Bedsides that I have
separate RFID park tickets.

We booked full package so the only thing I have right now are the MB's. I'm also not leaving front desk without KTTMK cards. I'm seeing way to many posts with problems associated with the MB/FP'S!

I would think if you FP+ it shouldn't take long..
However I would jut check the line before hand... Sometimes the lines are over 90 min.. People really take their time here..
I would not get in line unless its 40 or under.. Just because you need time to meet and greet and still more time to get to the Ressie.

Good news I think the lines for them get A LOT shorter by the end of the day..

They are (currently) giving out the KTTW at check-in automatically. Funny thing is that the one day, out of 8 days, including multiple park hopping...the one day my MB wouldn't work was at the entrance of Typhoon Lagoon and I ONLY had my MB on me. Nothing else. There was a CM there with a tablet that scanned my band and was able to pull up my info no problem. Issue that day was most likely sunscreen on my finger tip - preventing an accurate read. Haha

I did carry my KTTW with me, mainly for double-dipping but did have to use it a couple of times. When the La Cantina CM rang up my order wrong - the manager asked for my KTTW card. Said it would be easier to credit me using the card instead of the MB. Also my pin didn't work after I switched resorts (last 2 days) and I didn't want to take the time to get it fixed on my band. The other billion times the band did work although we were riddled with issues. The issues for us were related to MDE overall and not specifically the bands.

I have but hearing you will need your RFID tickets to get in.. Doesn't matter to me as I will be in park before that day.

If you do you should get 3 FP + from 4-7 time frame to pick..
