So does that mean when 2014 hits, if we have an AP linked to our MDX account, we'll be able to customize MBs, or do you think it will still only be within a certain time frame prior to our trip? Either way, good news!
My guess would be that it would be like getting you pass updated. Like when AP holders got the new RFID cards it would be similar to that I would also assume they would still allow you to customize them. If you have a trail through a Disney hotel you will get them no matter what.

They didn't say _when_ in 2014...but yes, I expect we will be given full customization ability when enabled. They won't know specifically when a trip is planned as not all AP holders stay on site, so it will likely happen at once, or at least it may be in stages so the system doesn't get overwhelmed... :)

That would be my guess they probably will send you an email or give you a call alerting you, you have the ability to upgrade to MB.
 
You will get them in May. Everyone gets them now. You can customize but you receive at the resort not at home so you will still have regular ME papers to scan for that services. If you don't customize you don't get custom bands. There is no customizing at the resort.

You can link your tickets and make FP+ as soon as that shows up available to you, not sure if they are sticking with the 60days out.

I'm not sure if you need to do online check in or not. I have 2 stays in Dec and haven't done online check in for either but I did go in and customize the bands because they were waiting there when I linked the stays.
 
Where am MDE should I be looking exactly haha?? xD

We don't check in until March 1st so maybe we just don't have the option yet.
On my desktop: I logged into Disney website, clicked on my Disney experience, clicked on magic bands and cards and from there I saw where I could customize bands for travelers on that res. I had to confirm shipping address and that people I want to pick bands for. I know I had issues with feb res for a few min. but I think it was related more to merged acct./res. mess than anything else.

I am from Canada and we have received our customized bands at our resort on two separate trips now. We have a third trip coming up next month and we have customized our bands.

As of right now, you do not need to do online checkin to receive the ability to customize bands.

They always have a testing phase end date. They just keep pushing it out.
 
For the BOG FP+, my son wants the roast beef but wants it plain. I was able to remove Horesradish, Arugula, Red Onion, and Tomato using the app but I thought I read something about sour cream. Is there sour cream and horseradish or is it just the one sauce.

I hope this means that regular fastpasses will still be available until then. I have a trip in February, and really like the old fastpass system better (sorry!!)
 
According to WDWmagic.com you will now need to have a magic band in order to get into EMH at every park. If your staying at the swan and dolphin you can still get in using your hotel card.
 
I see the list that was posted on the first page of this thread stating which rides you can get FP+ for...is it still up to date? Sorry if this question has already been asked.
 
Not sure if this has been posted yet or not but you now have the option to cancel 1 or more of a day's FP+ selections through the website.

I was able to click cancel and it showed all of us individually and all our FP+ slots listed out with a radio button next to each single FP+ slot. Or you could pick select all to cancel all 3 FPs for each person.
 
Just wanted to report that I was able to change unused fastpasses during and after the window. I had previously read you could only change before the window.

I was also able to change some headliners on the day of, but usually only afternoon times were available. I tried to book ETWB the day before and only one slot was available. These were during last week, with generally lighter crowds.
 
I'm trying to make fast pass selections for out trip in January and it is saying that one of our party members has reached fast pass capacity. But I haven't booked any yet? It will let me book for my DH and DS but not myself. Why????

probably the glitch of system just hit back and it should work other wise book for those u can and than copy to others.

Definitely a glitch...some times I can get fast passes for all 3 of us, other times just 1 of us. quite annoying but you're right, copying to others solves the problem. Thanks!

Very interesting indeed, this is the stuff we need to see more reports about ... and even more so as more guests are testing. IF this is happening in low season, than half the FP+ FAQ page is bullcrap, considering its all about "flexibility"
