New Moon for $1

Did the self-check out and it didn't except the coupon. When the manager came over I told him I wanted to cancel my order because it didn't take the coupon. He took the coupon looked it over and overrode it. :goodvibes

My Wal-Mart wouldn't accept it but my Target did! :thumbsup2

Of course Target was more expensive but still a deal!

Thanks much OP!

The customer service manager didn't want to take it but when I showed her the other coupons that printed that said "and" she took it  Thank you OP!!!

Some of you must have WM cashiers that actually care at their jobs! At mine they don't even look and just want you to get out of their site as quickly as possible! Very bored cashier just scanned it, had to look at the receipt to get some number from where the movie was rung up and sent me on my way. I don't even think she took notice of what movie it was or how much the coupon was for. She was more just annoyed that she had to actually look at the receipt. I did get the special edition for $24.99.

Our cashiers are like this for everything. No price tag on this item? They just make something up and ask you if it sounds right. I did a price match the other day and the guy just looked at the price I showed him, didn't bother to even see if it was the same item or what the dates of the ad were. Most of the time they don't greet you and the only words you hear from them are "bill total" and "here's your receipt"

I got mine!!! I'm so psyched. Worked at Wal*Mart. Teenaged cashier didn't even think twice about it.:banana:

Our local walmart took the coupon after she read it and asked "Is this only for one movie?" I said you read that also. Had to exchange it last night due to freezing about 30 min. into the movie. The lady at customer service said she has never seen so many of the one movie exchanged due to either freezing or skipping chapters. The second one worked fine. Customer service lady said where did you get a coupon that good? No comment. :rotfl:

Thanks for the tip!

Printed the coupon and headed out to Walmart. It was very busy this Saturday afternoon around 12:30pm, but I was able to grab one of the $17 movies and get in a 20-or-less line. Cashier gave the coupon a bit of a look and had to manually punch in the dollar amount off, but she had no problems. Even commented to me on what a good deal this was!

Total with tax $2.19!!

I checked out in the movie dept of Walmart. The guy called the CM back to verify, she said, "that's the same coupon I used when I bought it, it's fine". The guy checking me out was excited because he wants to get Astroboy, said he's planning to print one out for himself.
Cost $1.09 :yay:

My Walmart was out of the $17 version (or I just couldn't find them) so I got the Ultimate Fan Edition that is reg. $24.96 (or something like that) and it turned out to be $10+ with tax. Still a great bargain, but I would have rather had gotten it for $1.

No problems using the coupon at my local Walmart!

Thanks to the OP!

Thank you very much!!!I printed out their coupon policy tonight, took it to the store and showed a manager who let me use the coupon. She said all the other employees who said they didn't allow internet coupons either didn't know or were scared to take it and probably get in trouble.Everything about the coupon policy would make this a good coupon, the only thing that's not totally clear is if you have to buy all 4 movies but it definitely doesn't make that clear. Thanks again!

You are welcome! It's come in handy for me quite a few times

It did NOT work for me at my local Walmart. The clerk got the Asst. Manager. The Asst. Manager in turn got the store Manager, and he said that the commas mean together. Well, no movie for me....

Commas only mean together when followed by "and", and they mean seperate when followed by "or". I would have aske him that since this one didn't clarify, and that they would be reimbursed for it anyway, why were they jeopardizing their level of customer service over one coupon?

I used to work at a big-box hardware store, and we were told that if the amount in question (whether that be for price differences, damaged merchandise, or coupons) was less than $50 to do it simply because it's good customer service.

Of course, this is Walmart we're talking about and we all know how *great* their customer service record is!

I got a second one today to give to our friend's charity that gives toys to kids with cancer. It was all I bought today where as the other day I bought other things and still, no problems.

got twilight and astro boy at wm. Had to pay 7.55. The tax was like 2.xx. I guess it was tax before coupon. I have never seen that happen but I was not going to question it. Tax should have been like .35. Cashier did take the coupons to a CSM who then just made sure that it was not on their list of don't take coupons from the Internet. Thanks op.

I used both the printed coupon plus the coupon from the News Paper insert from a couple of weeks ago to get AstroBoy for DS and New Moon for DD. Total paid was $4 plus tax!

Cashier took the coupons with NO questions -- she did say "Oh you have my coupon!!" and I was so worried she was going to decline them but then she went on to say it was for her favorite movie so I told her RedPlum was where the printable ones were and she said "Perfect! I'm off in an hour and will get mine!".

These are wonderful additions to my children's Easter Baskets tonight. Thanks again, without your post I would have never even tried using the coupon I had.

My walmart (Scranton, PA) refused it. Drove across the street to Target, no questions asked :confused3 I thought about calling walmart to tell them they lost the sale to their competitor but... Blu Ray was $2 more at Target, still way cheaper than retail though!! :D

I got a second one today to give to our friend's charity that gives toys to kids with cancer. It was all I bought today where as the other day I bought other things and still, no problems.

I just got back from doing the same thing! Our center is always looking for donations and this is a good one! Thanks again OP! You've helped make alot of kids (and adults) very happy! :thumbsup2:hug:

I used coupon at our Walmart today. The coupon went through without needing an overide from manager, but when the cashier saw that it was a $16 coupon she called the manager over anyways. the manager said as long as the computer accepted it, it was o.k. It is going in DS basket tomorrow:cool1:

Used mine with no problems at Wal-Mart today for Astro Boy. Used the Self Checkout and associate over the area had to come over and key in an override code. He had no problems accepting the coupon. Going to go back and use my second one next week!
