New "Mom's to Be" Thread!

DH is guessing I'll be due Nov. 21st around then. The conception was some time around the 29th of February. We can't pin down an exact date of when IT happened. So, it could've been any time the last two weeks of February. How exact is that ? So, until I have my first official OB appointment (or two) I'll wait to start a countdown ticker.

We have girls and boys both already. 2s and two s

Just sat down at work and decided to check how everyone is doing on the Dis. Must admit I can´t wait to stop working. Well, only 2 more days this week and 3 days next week, then a couple of days homework and I should be done! Yeah!!!

Congratulations! Boys are a totally different animal than girls!

We find out the baby's gender on Friday and I cant' wait!!!

PS - My due date is 9/17.

I love your pictures too. Sam and Zoe are just little weeds themselves...growing and growing!
I have Mo on bananas and rice cereal now. I just buy the real bananas and smash them myself. Makes mommy so proud to see him eating "real" food. However, it also says he's growing up! He rolls over now and we can't sit him too upright in his boppy. He'll reach for his toes and go right over! He did that the other day and I thought I was going to hit the floor laughing. Mo looked at me like what's wrong with you mommy? He grinned at me though.

I know Kelly....I have this screen saver on my computer of Mo's photo album and when those pictures come up back from December I just go wow...what happened to my baby?? I mean he still is, but instead of 8 pounds 21 inches, he's 16 pounds 27 inches and just a little version of me and his daddy in all areas. He's got his mommy's will, his daddy's constitution, his mommy's high forehead, and his daddy's sleeping habits.
I have my moments with Mo when I just want to cry or scream, but I've learned to breath, step back and sometimes just let him cry for a bit and then I'm there for him, hugging him and teasing him. I don't ever want him to think I don't care if I don't respond quickly enough. All in all he is the BEST baby, and Charles and I are truly blessed.

I just got back from the OB, and I still get to stay at home for bedrest! My doctor is happy for now with the slowed progression just by restricting my activity. No meds yet, no hospital yet, no babies yet!

Well, I went to my local resale shop and I think I bought back a dress I sent in for consignment last year . I'm starting to stock pile some maternity items.

I hope every one is having a good week so far

Oh, it is! Last week I was very close to going to the hospital for the duration of this pregnancy (6-8 weeks). Each week I'm warned that I might, so - while bedrest stinks - I'm glad I get to do it here!

I´m so glad I have today and tomorrow off from work. Finally got around to washing the last set of baby clothes this morning and managed to get the crib ready. It was already assembled since last time but I put on some new bedding and it looks adorable now. Can´t wait to watch our baby boy sleeping in it. Life if good!

Well I went and had my ultrasound today! It's a BOY! 10 fingers and 10 toes and healthy. We are very blessed. We took DD4 with us to the appointment so she could see the baby.

I have to admit I am a little disappointed. I really wanted a girl and the thought of getting rid of all of the clothes I packed away from DD4 is just making me so sad.

To make her and I feel a bit better we went shopping and bought her a giant Disney Princess paint, stamp, and coloring set. I told her at least she didn't have to share her princesss things with her brothers now.... unless she wanted to.

Anyway, the baby is healthy and I am thankful for that. Now I just have to get used to the idea of only one little princess in my life....
