Well I went and had my ultrasound today! It's a BOY! 10 fingers and 10 toes and healthy. We are very blessed. We took DD4 with us to the appointment so she could see the baby.
I have to admit I am a little disappointed. I really wanted a girl and the thought of getting rid of all of the clothes I packed away from DD4 is just making me so sad.
To make her and I feel a bit better we went shopping and bought her a giant Disney Princess paint, stamp, and coloring set. I told her at least she didn't have to share her princesss things with her brothers now.... unless she wanted too.
Anyway, the baby is healthy and I am thankful for that. Now I just have to get used to the idea of only one little princess in my life....
Congratulations on your little boy!
It is very special to have one princess, I'm sure, as well! I understand the initial "coming to terms" though, with whatever the ultrasound shows! I'm so happy he's healthy and thriving!

I think it's just an adjustment when you find out what you ARE having, and then of course, what you are not.... regardless of what you are hoping for, it's something that I think you really have to process. I sure did, anyway!
