I need to unsubscribe from this thread but hope to rejoin you all sometime. I just found out that our baby had no heartbeat. I am having a D&C this afternoon. I was 15 weeks on Sunday so I am really shocked. Good luck to all!

OMG, momsully, I am absolutely devastated for you! :( You will definitely be in my thoughts and prayers today.

I´m so sorry for your loss momsully. Hope that everything goes well and that you can join this thread again soon.

Abigail had her 4 month shots on Tuesday and a check up!

She is now 12 lbs and 4 oz and 25 inches long!!! She is very long and all of her pants are too short now. She is finally wearing 0 - 3 month clothes ok, and the 3 - 6 months are way too big for her.

Also, she is being referred to an Ortho specialist for her hips. The doctor is concerned about her range of motion and just wants to make sure that there are no problems. Abigail had an ultrasound when she was about 6 weeks old and got the ok then, but now there is alot of stiffness and our doctor is afraid this could cause problems later for her.

I'll keep you posted and update with some photos later.

Hi, I just recently started to feel my baby move a few days ago. On Tuesday she moved all day long every few seconds it seemed. The next day it was a little less and today it's hardly any :confused3
I'm only 21 weeks, is this normal? i mean, it seemed like she was doing cartwheels the other day, but today she's very very quiet.
Heartbeat this morning was in the high 140's. I know she's still alright, but maybe someone can help me with my question.
Thanks!

Yes, it is normal. You just started feeling her move so she probably is not going to be extremely consistent just yet. Trust me, when you get a little farther along you will feel it often and it may even keep you from getting a good night's sleep.

With my dd, I didn't really feel her move till 22 weeks and it wasn't consistent at first. This is my 2nd so I felt him earlier. I felt him start moving around 15 weeks or so but did not start feeling him every day until 19 weeks. Now I am 25 weeks and it seems like he moves almost all day long and all night long as well. But still, it took several weeks for it to become more consistent.

I wouldn't worry about how much she moves until your dr. has you start counting her kicks and that probably won't be till around the 3rd trimester (around 28 weeks or so). Afterall, you are feeling her, even if it is just a little. A little movement must be more reassuring than no movement at all, right?

Yesterday, I took Emme to the mall for the first time, although she didn't see any of it, she slept the whole time. I had in my pouch sling and she liked it, which is unusual for her. Of course we stopped by the Disney store and my girl is going to be decked out in this for Easter: http://disneyshopping.go.com/webapp...&productId=1223698&langId=-1&categoryId=11854

I also got her a cute soft Easter basket that I figure we can use for the next decade.

Oh, I just realized she is 5 weeks old today! Wow does the time fly...

I have a question for you BTDT moms, when were you able to start exercising and when were you able to have sex again? I checked my weight the other day and I have lost 30 pounds since my due date doing nothing but nursing. My girl is sucking the weight out of me. I still have 7 more pounds to go for baby weight, plus my extra weight I shouldn't have had in the first place. My post partum visit isn't until 8 weeks because the doctor is all booked up. I would like to start exercising (we have a fitness center in our complex) and DH is interested in the other thing....lol!

ok, Moms to be....who will be rocking this outfit this Spring???? YIKES!

First, that dress is just too cute, and one of the many reasons I need to have a girl next time! :cutie:

As for your questions, on activities, I don't remember the exact time frame for sex, but I know I didn't wait as long as I should, somewhere between 1-2 weeks, but I also had a c-section, so no big baby head stretched things out. I started exercising right after my 6 week post partum visit, also due to the c-section, then promptly stopped after I went back to work at 8 weeks, b/c I just couldn't find the time. I'm still using that excuse almost a year later! :thumbsup2
