I do not know why she was banned . . . you would have to ask the mods or webmaster for clarification. She may have violated one of the DIS rules and got too many points and was banned.

I believe there is a sticky at the beginning of the CB that has an explanation of the banning that happened in April.

It appears that PrincessBride was banned with a few others . . . that is the reason why you can't find her PJ.

omigosh! i guess I didnt' even realize someone could be banned. i feel so bad for her! she seemed to be posting quite a bit, and that would be a shock!!

That's ridiculous - why would she be reprimanded for mentioning morning sickness? Also, I don't want to get anyone in trouble, but I saw the screen name "IamnotAmanda" or "ThisisnotAmanda", something like that anyway, on another thread last week, which I thought was funny at the time, but now has me wondering....

I've seen a lot of bannings recently. Some posters have been going a bit too far with their opinions and really bashing other posters or using language that is very innapropriate. I really doubt she was warned about discussing her morning sickness (there must be more to it). I do have a question though. What's this stuff about getting points and how can you tell if you have points?

Anyway, I'm glad to see the rest of you and hope you are all feeling well. I can't believe how fast summer is going. I've only got 10 weeks left and haven't even touched the baby's room yet. Thank goodness he'll be in the bassinet for a few weeks. I really need to get moving.

I know she wasn't banned for mentioning her morning sickness on the wrong board, I just know a moderator told her that the wedding board wasn't the place to mention to brides about her morning sickness - this was done on a public thread - that's how I know. I'm sure there must have been something more that got her banned... I followed her PTR, her TR, and her pregnancy journal and I miss her!!

I am also wanting a lot of Grape Propel water...and McDonalds cheeseburgers. My kids are loving that!!

I am now at 29 weeks though this has been happening since 28 weeks. I am at least getting up 5 times a night to go to the bathroom. I am limiting my beverage intake by at least 6-6:30pm now but still am getting up quite a few times. Is this normal now?? I don;t really mind except for the fact that I am exhausted now. But on the bright side when the baby is here and is up every 3-4hrs (I Hope ) it will seem like I am getting a ton of sleep

I was only in labor for 5 hours!! It went so fast my Doctor couldn't believe it for a first baby. I went from 4-10 CM in like 2 hours.
We're all so excited!!

It comes and goes. Some nights will be better than others.

Has anyone seen or heard anything from Amanda?!?!?! AKA PrincessBride??? I haven't seen or heard anything from her and I can't find her pregnancy journal.... I'm really worried about her!

I am one of Amanda's friends and just happen to venture over here today and saw a post regaurding "getting banned for morning sickness" and thought to myself "they are talking about Amanda"

Anyway, she got banned because of a moderator on the weddings board. There have been a TON of bannings over on the wedding and honeymoons board lately, and she was one of them. Many people feel that the moderators over there (particularly 1) are being quite unfair about things.... and them speaking their opinions are getting them banned.

Hope that clears a little bit up! I know Amanda has been doing well and misses everyone!
