We're members!!! We bought onboard the cruise ship last week. Seemed like good incentives and was just the right time for our family to finally take the plunge. We bought at AKL, a resort we have loved, though we hope to enjoy lots of our favorites. We're just really excited.

Thanks everyone! I have no idea if it was an amazing deal or not, but it seemed reasonable. It was an $18 credit off the point price (or you could have chosen a cruise, but we took the credit), a $500 OBC for the cruise, backdating to December, 2010 with prorated fees and 18 Fastpasses for our next trip. We'd probably have bought without the incentives, so for us it seemed like a bargain. No idea if it was or wasn't.

We also bought AKV on a cruise in 2008...also had great incentives. We have NEVER, NOT ONCE, EVER regretted this purchase. My only regret was we didn't buy enough points, so we bought more at WDW this past Christmas.

You will LOVE AKV! I enjoy having the choice of so many room categories there and choosing between Jambo and Kidani. It is like 2 resorts in one!
