New Member Website coming!!

I hate the new regular Disney site.
I lost everything I had saved on the old site.
And I can not get any Dining Reservation to stay listed.
I find it very complicated to use.
It freezes and crashed frequently.
It was trying to make Dining reservations today and it went down 3 times.

I bet the new DVC Member site will have a similar look and function.

Ditto...so I worry about them changing the DVC member site.

I haven't tried anything complicated but my experience with the site has been good.:thumbsup2

I use Safari at home and that browser won't let me do anything on the site. Anytime i try to search for dining reservations, Safari freezes and becomes unresponsive and I have to force quit. I have cleared cookies, emptied the cache, restarted, all to no avail. Sigh.

I use Chrome at work and get the "Server Busy" response right at the last step of booking an ADR. Maybe I will try FireFox at work.

I emailed Disney and got a standard "sorry for the inconvenience, we are working on it" message in reply.
Safari works for me on both a Mac and Windows 7 machine.

PLEASE Disney -- DO NOT GO LIVE on a new DVC site until you have the kinks on the new Disney site worked out!!! :worried:

When it first went live, I couldn't access my reservations (resort & ADR), but could make new ADRs. Now that I can access my reservations, I get the "server busy" error message when I hit the "reserve" button for ADRs. :headache: This latest problem has gone on since Tuesday. :(

I don't mind change -- as long as it's a step forward rather than 2 back!!! :rolleyes1

BTW, I use Firefox.

I am having this exact problem with making ADRs.

I am now able to make adr's but can not cancel it. The new website does not allow it. You have to call to cancel adr's. There's no confirmation email or print-out like the old website. I like to have a printed confirmation for everything.

Just cancelled an ADR for a night in February on-line and then made another one and both events were verified via separate emails.

I had reservations I cancelled three weeks ago, printed out and now they are showing under my reservation. Plus a cancelled trip is showing under my reservations. Called them about these because we cancelled them and I have the printed cancellation. The CM said they were never cancelled & the CM said they can't be cancelled online. I had to fax them over the cancellation emails/confirmations because they are showing as active reservations.

Save all your confirmation emails.

I wonder if it's so we can book FP+ and stuff? Stay tuned! :surfweb:

Here's what they are saying....

I finally found a chunk of time to call and make my ADRs over the phone. Was able to get everything I wanted and in a shocking turn of events, when I logged into the website afterwards, all of the ADRs I had just made on the phone were listed in my profile. I am stunned. :lmao:
