Some TAs have reported being emailed a PDF of the new Magic deck plans. They had to order hard copies as well. Scott should be receiving a link via email soon & I'll post when he does.

Of note, the shops are getting renamed to match the Dream & Fantasy, so they'll be Mickey's Mainsail & White Caps. It looks like room #7509 has been converted to an accessible room and there are new connecting rooms.

These were seen via screenshots - more info to follow.

Thanks for the updates :) I would love to see a concierge lounge on the Magic too but I'm not counting on it...

We'd love to see one too, but we were told by dcl folks that it wasn't possible on the classic ships due to limited spacing.

So they are keeping the Treasure Ketch name for one shop and changing to Mickey's Mainsail for the other?

MJ

Oh no I'm wrong. It's changing to White Caps.

Thx for the update!!! I couldn't remember the other name of the shop on the Dream/Fantasy!

So long Treasure Ketch and Mickey's Mates....hello Mickey's Mainsail and White Caps. I am so torn between the nostalgia of the old and excitement of all the new venues:confused3

Looks like two more HA rooms. 7509 is in an inside and forward. 8094 is marked as a 4E and is adjacent to the 1 bedroom HAs in the aft section.

The new deck plans no longer show 2071/2571 to 2085/2585 as connecting staterooms. I hope that is just an error on the new deck plan! I can't imagine that they would have removed those connecting doors. We are booked in two of those cabins on an upcoming cruise, and if this isn't just a mistake, we have a problem! :rolleyes2

I spoke to a CM at DCL this morning because I was concerned about our 1 bedroom becoming a connecting room. We specifically booked it because it was not. He told me that the deck plan on the Disney Blog is not written in stone. They don't know exactly what rooms are being converted to connecting.

We booked 2575 and 2577 because they were connecting rooms, but they too are no longer shown as connecting. I also find it hard to believe they would do away with preexisting connecting doorways, but who knows? I guess a call to Disney is in order...

That is the deck plan they are sending to the travel agents (which we are not). Hope DCL knows soon because it would be helpful for TAs to give correct info!

The CMs in the call centers may not know exactly what rooms are being converted, but I can't fathom why DCL would send this out to TA's if its not accurate. And I was able to find it published on more sites than just the one mentioned here. So I'm betting this is it. I called DCL to ask about new connecting cabins several weeks ago and was told it was just an internet rumor, so clearly the call center people are the LAST to know!

My concern is those cabins on deck 2. I just can't imagine they would have removed all those connecting doors. If they did, I have a real problem with my Christmas cruise. But I figure I'll get more accurate information if I just wait for DISers to board the ship than if I call DCL!!!

Well, it still doesn't tell me if my room , 8078, is now a connecting room...it just shows it as "proposed additional connecting staterooms - Disney Magic only".

Yeah, we may have to wait until Nov. and find out then.

Honestly, we have stayed in rooms that were both connecting and not. I heard more noise from the non-connecting room than the connecting room one time. I was woken up in the middle of the night by someone snoring on the other side of the wall.

Don't depend on them for accurate information, unfortunately. Apparently they don't keep up on DCL's own releases since that is where the additional connecting room info came from.

Looking forward to seeing all the changes! Three weeks!
