New LE Haunted Mansion Magic Band

Seriously, I thought the marketing of these things was silly (who would buy a magic band T-shirt?), but this is a game-changer.

Well darn, looks like the only ones you can purchase without linking are the solid color bands. Collectibles still have to be linked.

i plan on using glow in the dark nail polish and good stickers on mine when they come in. Cheaper then $25

We arrive 5 weeks today and I am hoping they still have some left. I love these designs. I've decorated last years band but I tried with tattoos first and it didn't work out so well, the nail polish kept cracking causing the tattoo to crack. I'd like one that is already decorated and Haunted Mansion is one of my top 3 favorite rides. I hope they make one for Tower of Terror as well.

One thing I'm wondering though is there a limit of how many they made in production and once the parks are out of them that's it, no more.

I think so. I believe that I read the Frozen Limited Edition one was a release of 5000 only. These would probably be more popular so hopefully more.

There are no special effects with this one.

Also, just for more info, the inside of the band says "Limited Release" but does not say how many were made, unlike the Olaf and Star Wars bands.

I saw this at themainstreetmouse: "We have been asked WHY these can only be bought in the park and must be activated at time of purchase by the purchaser. All of the LE Magic Bands have been set up like this to help prevent scalping of the Limited Edition items on resale sites."

I have a HM cover band from DVC central (which is purple btw), but I still need this one! Hope they still have them in 3.5 weeks!

SO just wondering...I have a friend leaving on Monday. If she purchases one for me and has it linked to her ressie (bc she has to ) then can I use it on my vacation in April when I go if I have then link my vacation onto it for my daughter obsessed daughter

This cracked me up! And ITA! Must pay extra for fancy HM magicband!!! When I step back, it makes me laugh that I am just hoping against hope that I will be honored with the chance to spend $25 on something that is otherwise free (if they stay in stock till late Sept, which they won't). Genius!! I'm such a sucker for HM merch.

I have a feeling they will still be in stock. The Haunted Mansion's Anniversary Celebration begins later this year and I would think they will make sure the HM MagicBands will be available in the new HM Store. Hope you get one!!

OMG...I looooooooooooove all things Haunted Mansion. I need need neet to have this MB. Will be there in a month from today and hope they won't sell out quickly. 25$ is a steep pricetag for something you get for free when you check into your hotel, but the HM wallpaper design makes ist so much better. I like wearing my MB all the time during my vacation anyway, so why not show of my all time favourite ride
