So last night (or technically speaking, this morning) was my after prom and I won a new iPod nano (5th generation). Which is absolutely great because a couple weeks ago I filled my old 8GB ipod nano (4th generation) to capacity and I'd like to start filling the new one. Problem is, that my iTunes keeps synchronizing my songs from my old iPod nano, and I want totally new songs. (I canceled the synchronization, but it's getting annoying having to do that every time I plug it in.)

Is there a way to separate my ipod nano accounts? Is it possible to download new songs on my new ipod, but keep my old ipod for my old songs? TIA :goodvibes

If all of your songs are in ITunes, the easiest solution may be to set up a playlist for the new IPod and then change the sync settings to only pull songs from that playlist.
