New Iphone Disneyland application

Hopefully with updates, the app will only get better. Now for a DCA one.
The kids are enjoying what it is and $2.99 is cheap!! What can you get cheaper with DISNEY on it.

I agree. You can't beat the price and I'm certain it will become a "must have" for a lot of people...me included. I'm hopeful that one for DCA is on it's way too.

Well my Iphone came in the mail today, and the 1st thing I tried to do was buy this app, but of course I can't get it, because I'm australian, and you can only buy it from a US account... I hate that...

That's a shame - it was available to buy in the UK store when I bought it last week. In fact, it actually works out cheaper from there as well (only a little at about $2.64).

Hello everyone. I'm the guy who put the app together. It really is a labor of love (and a large investment - hah). I appreciate hearing all of your feedback and look forward to making it even better.

We are working on minor enhancements every day. The application will work on the iPod touch - leaving it off the app store was our error and was corrected. Inside the park, you will not be able to see wait times or the day's calendar (because you need a wifi connection). However, with the calendar, you can add events to your personal calendar before your visit and will be able to access this information. In addition, you can still add your fastpass return times and restaurant reservations.

For those of you who would like to get the word out around Disneyland with a GotPlanS? tshirt, please send me a private message and I'll get one to you (free). I am getting them made up now.

To bad about the wait times. But my family loves the app. Hope you are working on DCA.

I just loaded it on my iphone and I did notice that it crashes a LOT. Is that because I have the original iphone (not the G3)? Just curious...

I have the 3G and have no crashes yet, I hope that is not a problem.

How do you plan on using your iPhones in the states? I am looking at getting one, and would love to use it over there, but am not sure how it will use the internet. I don't want to have to pay for roaming.

From what I've seen on the boards, Disney doesn't have many/any wifi points?

Hi, I am considering getting my iphone unlocked which would allow me to use it with a local pay as you go SIM card from U.S. This has it's own set of problems though. I recently brought a book titled "The rough guide to the Iphone" and it explains how to do all of that.
Having Roaming on will be far too expensive.

fyi i have a 3g and it has not crashed i open at least once a day just to see how the wait list is going even though im not in the land just yet.
