New Hot Deal?????

Count me in for waiting for a great deal. It's been 7 months since I've been last, and I don't even have a trip planned. :sad2:

:wave2: Hello, my name is Amy and I'm a 12-stepper!
Carolyn, I absolutely loved that - very creative AND so true! :lmao:

subscribing as I missed my EE trip. Family issue then my heating system had major water issues. :sad2: On top of having Pnemonia ( Delta gave me ALL my $$ back to not fly them) :lmao: I mean ALL no change fee will be applied. Thank you Delta. Great customer service for me and the other passengers. I was kind of wary of getting on a full plane with Pnemonia but if they had said to bad I would have just worn a double face mask and looked like a Masked Bandit.
Disney even returned my Deposit in full. Even they didnt want me. :grouphug:

I am planning a May StarWars Weekend trip Now.

Oh why Oh why did All this have to happen at once.
pixiedust: I just checked out the new smiles Who ever did these You Rock!! These are great Wish I had your talent

Same here and I hope it's going to be a stay for 7 pay for 4 type of deal. I just signed up for the Mouse Savers newsletter as well.

I know we are supposed to return to WDW only in Jan 2007(sooooo long) but I sure hope this is one heck of a deal, It could mean we get to go sooner!

OK if this is any clue this AM I saw UNIVERSAL was doing a kids stay play and eat free deal this summer! (so dining plan plus admission for the kids...)maybe Disney is thinking dining plan again? fingers crossed!

I saw that too! A relative told me that he saw on CNN yesterday something about a price war between the two. Does anyone have any info on that? I too am hoping for a big discount, I would love the kids stay and eat free! I would gladly take the eat free- I did dining last year and it was GREAT! :cool1:

Wow, that's interesting :scratchin . I am also hoping for a general public discount for the week of Aug 19-26. (After pondering on which week is best to go... I finally decided.) Now I've probably put the cart before the horse but I just purchased my airline tickets before they go up anymore. NOW... I'm trying to decide whether to go ahead and book a package or wait. For someone as decision impaired as I am... this planning is torture. I don't know if this is the best thread to ask these questions but I'll give it a shot.

If I go ahead and book... am I correct with the following assumptions??

1. I can always cancel and rebook with the new "hot deal" :goofy: plan without a penalty. (Loss of downpayment etc.)

2. If the plan doesn't start until the 20th (equivalent to the same day the free dining started last year).. I can rebook with a room only for the night of the 19th and start my package on the 20th with no penalty.

3. If the No.2 scenario occurs.. can I schedule magic express for Saturday (the 19th) since I am purchasing a package that would begin the 20th? I know I can use it on the 26th to return to the airport for departure.

I think this is everything. Please move my post if it should be somewhere else.

Thanks!!!!!!

I am not sure if the 2 are related or not but when I was booking our July 06 trip for Pop I asked the CM (VERY NICELY) if she would mind checking to see if there were any codes attached to my name and she did and no there were not...BUT she KEPT ON INSISTING that I call back in a few weeks and check again. I asked why of course and she laughed and said "you never know when something will pop up" . I asked if she knew something I didn't and she laughed again and said "you never know".....So I will be calling back in a few days.

I was just on the Disney Visa web site and I looked at current offers. It has an offer for Disney LAND that states now adults play for kids prices. It says that you can buy a 3 day childrens hopper for all in your party regardless of age. This may be it. A lot of times you see a variation of the offer. It is okay but they will probably make you pay rack rate on the rooms to get the ticket discount. Who knows...here's to the hunt for the discount. :tink:

Hi...I dont think this is at as I have had a Trip planned to Disneyland for over a month now and the "Play for kids prices" deal was there when I started planning....and you dont have to stay in one of their hotels to get it either.......

But this is Good - we can still hope for free dining, or pay for 4 stay for 7.....I HOPE!!
