Yes, the kids play/stay free offer was good at DL last year in the spring also. I think they try to boost attendance in the spring since many choose to visit in the summer.

We took advantage of the free dining offer last year also and it was great! I would love it if WDW offered it again, but I don't it is their general policy to repeat promotions. Do they?

I wouldn't look at anything Disneyland is doing right now as a possibility for the World. DL is so separated from the World, and they've been doing that kids free plan for quite a while now and there has been no attempt at duplication in the World.

On the other hand, I too have been making frequent calls over the past few weeks and had an interesting talk with a cast member yesterday. There appears to be "something" on the horizon.

We should make a VMK prize for the one who gets the discount first!

I also had an interesting conversation with a CM a while back. He too hinted that something was in the works. Of course, I've also been given verrrrry wrong information from CM's too, so who knows what might happen, just wish it would happen soon!

Hubby and I have two weeks off from work at Labor Day. We have not made any plans, I know he really wants to do Disney, me, I will go if I have to. haha Seriously, if the right deal comes along, count us in, too. We do plan a camping trip to the World in August 2007, but that seems so far off. Would love the free dining, but will wait and see what they have brewing. I just love all the info that I garner from these boards.

Hi Everyone! I am looking for a deal also. We took our first trip last fall during the "free dining" promo. We had a wonderful time and we have all had disney fever ever since. I need a great deal for another trip!!! Crossing my fingers for something spectacular.

My gut feeling is that it won't be free dining... that seems to have served it's purpose. I'd rather have a room discount myself. If free dining is offered again, it will be even harder to get into the popular restaurants.
