Hey everyone
I have booked our Disney vacation for May 2- May 9 at AOA. It is our first ever trip to Disney. I am sure I will have so many questions for you all as I make my plans. I have promised the kids since they were little that one day I would take them. Can't wait to see their reactions on Christmas morning when we surprise them. (I think they have given up hope of going lol)

Thanks for the warm welcome. I thought once I booked my trip that it would be easy peasy. I never realized how much planning is involved. I am abit stressed thinking about it. I will defintly post back after Christmas morning.
:)

As the PP mentioned planning is important, but depending on the age your children, flexability is the most important thing. If you have to have naps( adults too:goodvibes) If your enjoying something and miss one of your plans, who cares. Go with a flex plan, some key things to hit, some others maybe maybe not. Plan on lining up for parades 1/2-1 hour before no one likes a line jumper.
And remember If you get the bite like most, you will be back so what you missed you will get next time.:thumbsup2

The planning is a lot of fun and you have lots of time and alot of resources on here. IF you need any help ask here or PM me or someone else. we all have a lot of tips and tricks to make it the best part of your trip, other than the trip itself.

thanks I will probably be asking lots of questions after Christmas....

Enjoy the planning...I do!....you will have a great time and this board is a great resource....ask anything and you will usually get multiple answer/views.

Good Luck!:)

:welcome:

I've helped several first time visitors plan their trips and the one thing that I have learned is this.....my friends that have listen to the advice given have had a better time, they are the ones that usually get the bug. The friends that don't listen and do their own thing come home saying that they hated it and are never going again. So the point is, do your homework and take advice from people that have been to WDW. We frequent WDW visitors know how to maximize, time, money and fun. With some relaxation on top.

welcome and congrats on the upcoming trip. should be a lot of fun especially for your first visit
