New Fireworks Practice Run tonight!

I just saw a test run tonight (well Monday night, June 8th). It was ok, but a mere mortal compared to the GOD that is the "Dreams" show! Haven't done my research, so I hope this really is just a summer show because the Dreams show is a gazillion times better! They should bring that show back but keep Dumbo, that was really awesome especially since I hadn't heard he was part of the show - both Dumbo and Tinkerbell made an appearance, and yes I must admit, Dumbo's flight choked me up a bit too.

I have video of the entire show which I will upload on YouTube, would have done it tonight but was gonna take about 25 minutes to upload. I'm tired from my Disney day so I'll try to do it later yet a.s.a.p. though I'm sure there's already several online.

As for watching near Small World, can you see Tink and dumbo?

I'd also like to know if you can see Tink or Dumbo if you're over in the Fantasmic area??

Not sure how we're going to see all 3 of the nighttime events!

If you're in the Fantasmic area you will be able to get a glimpse of Tink as she flies down from the mountain, but I do not think you'll be able to see Dumbo, as he flies up from the left around the castle.

I don't know about the Small World mall area, but I think that you can see them both from there.

I'm curious how this new show affects the rest of the park. With the other show so much of the park had closed paths it was hard to get around. Did anyone notice what areas were closed off?

We saw them last night (Monday June 8th) from the monorail. Seeing this thread before I left and not really paying attention, as I thought it was last week, I was unprepared.

They looked good and from the monorail station in Tomorrowland, it was great viewing (for as long as they let us stand there).

Didn't see anything like Tink or Dumbo (but wasn't looking). I remember some Christmas fireworks being spectacular and these just seemed OK (of course it was practice and I was not really paying attention...)

Now I must say that the Celebrate Parade was better than I thought it was going to be. It doesn't translate well on Youtube. It was alot of fun and we watched it several times during the week. Highly recommended.

It definitely does not come across the same on video. You have to get into the feel of everyone having a good time, which is part of what makes it good. Glad you enjoyed it.

We waited until after the show before even trying to move. Right now with the renewed Fantasmic and the new fireworks show, I'm thinking that a lot of people will head to the Rivers of America area after the show, and that area will be mobbed.

I did notice that the area around the castle was closed off for the firworks, so people wouldn't be able to walk through the castle to get to/from Fantasyland until they are over.

You can see tink and a bit of dumbo from F! area, but really it would be better to be straight on to the castle - most of Dumbo is blocked by trees.
