New Feature! - Tower of Terror Starry Carpets

I was covering the floor of one of my rooms with the new Tower of Terror Starry Carpets and noticed that the carpets can be placed partially on top of each other, and furniture can be placed half on and half off the carpet.

My little girl would be much happier if she could move the things. She put them down and can't pick them back up. She has tried moving to different rooms and coming back, logging off and coming back on, and just clicking repeatedly.

Oh I just thought she didn't try empty the room feature. She doesn't have too much stuff in the room but it took her a while to get it like she wanted.

All I can say is "It's about time". Having the ability to place items on only a part of the rug makes things so much easier. Now if we can only get them to change all the other rugs to work in the same way!

I noticed that with magic show carpets too. They cover the whole block of four crates instead of being half under and half up.

I laid 4 of them down, end to end, to see what they looked like and I could not get them picked back up again. I had to use the empty room feature to get them back into my inventory.

How to move the star rugs
you need to click a the right tip of the corner of the rug. I to had to do clear room but finally found this worked. And consistenly too

Thank you for figuring that out! I was sure I had clicked that corner before but must not have gotten it just right. Figured it was a bug that would just take a bit for them to fix.

Sorry if this has already been posted and I missed it, but why can't you move these carpets around like the normal stuff? I can't rotate them, and I can't tell it to take them away. Am I doing something wrong? Wish you could use them for wall decoration. It'd make a great starry night background.
