Just returned from our trip and I believe our new favorite restaurant is Citrico's. We have always looked forward to our Cali Grill dinner every trip. This year, the atmosphere was just not was it has been in the past and we were disappointed. It may have been that we went a little later (7 pm) than usual, but every table around us had small children in booster seats, who were very restless. Our server was not as personable, and basically speeded us through a $200+ meal (for two).

On the other hand, we ate at Citrico's for the second time. Loved it! Most of the children were our children's ages (preteen and teen). The atmosphere was relaxing, service super and so enjoyable. Even the server mentioned how they don't rush you there. It's our new favorite:goodvibes

Isn't Citricos great?

We too enjoy California Grill on the early side. We try for 5:30 or 6pm reservations before the craziness hits.

It truly is the unsung hero of the MK resort dining options. Would you mind telling us what you ordered? I'm always curious to know what people think. Thanks again!

You could almost be describing the experiences of my husband and me in October. We were so impressed with Citricos - it really was one of the highlights of our trip and we can't wait to give it another try next year. :thumbsup2

Citricos is definetly one of my favourite signature restaurants, for both food and atmosphere. It's been quietish when we've dined there, we've never had a bad dish, and the service has always been very good.

My dh had the bone-in Ribeye which was excellent. I had a monkfish dish that was a special, it was great. We also had the tuna tartare appetizer and the goat cheese appetizer.

I think we will try Cali Grill at an earlier time next time.

FYI, we had a 6PM reservation at CA Grill on this last trip and it was no different in terms of crowds or rambunctious small children. If you want something a little more quiet you might ask the CM at check-in if you can have a table in the wine room. It's much smaller and has a dedicated wait staff and it's very quiet, all things considered. You won't have an MK view from there, however, if that's something that's important to you.

We always try to eat in the wine room just because it is so much more quiet and relaxed.
