I'm betting, if they keep it, the price will go up. It's just too cheap of a price for Disney.

What is the maximum you would pay for this service?

I'm hoping the price doesn't go up much, if at all, as that will price the service out of our budget.

It is cheap BUT one has to first buy a Park Hopper. So, it could be an incentive for people to purchase a PH? It's kinda like the purchase with purchase merchandise! :D I think the single day cost will remain, but the 7-day will increase. I hate to put a number out there; I don't want to give Disney any ideas!

It's too cheap for any service like this really. It prices out to unlimited use for less than $4 a day. I'll sure take it at that price but I'm not expecting it to last. They're charging $15 per day and that seems high to me though. $50-$75 per week and I'd still be very tempted to use it. it may well be that they're considering it as incentive to buy park hoppers ( something we've always done anyway) and in that case, the price may not go up much, if at all. There's just no way to know.

I meant by asking at some point in the day- but I went through this thread before we left and found almost all the times that were being reported. Turns out those times were still correct, but we double checked once in the parks when we found ourselves close by. I'm hoping they start publishing times soon!
Thanks!

I'm planning on using it for a 3 day park visit next month. It's only my daughter and I so $48 isn't too bad. I would never buy it for my trips with the whole family. There's 5 of us and we usually go in the summer and can't last in the parks after 12 PM because of the heat so it wouldn't be worth it to us.

I think the general rule is no food or drink on a bus. For minor things they're unlikely to give you a hard time but I wouldn't try it with a full meal. The bus schedules are pretty set so they'll tell you it'll leave at 10 after and you can board at 5 after so you should know how much time you have to grab a meal and plan accordingly.
Driver on our bus was fine with drinks in early January

you have one error that I see - EPCOT to DHS is 00/30.

I was told by a guest relations person (who called me regarding our lack of Concert confirmation e-mail) that they were receiving lots of positive feedback on having the schedules set so it looks like things will stay this way.

So I got bored tonight and went through my phone to look at the times that I had jotted down for the last 3 weeks and it looks like they've been the same for the last 3 weeks (at least on Saturdays). I'll be doing this again this weekend so I'll update if the times are any different.

Would you be willing to post it? (Sorry if I missed it - I did read back the last few pages and couldn't find it)

Yes but with a PH or WP being required for Free Dining they do sell a lot of hoppers

Question for those who used this service. We usually rent a car mainly due to not wanting to take crowded buses at night with a guide dog who will be stepped on constantly. My major reason for not getting a car and using this service would be a totally different reason, not having to go thru security more than once a day, first Disney does not train security people for blind people, second Disney disrequards me when I ask to not be scanned due to already having radiation poisoning. So to get a car (my dd drives) or to get this pass. We can take this bus from most of the parks as the last bus of night, and go to MK and then take the boat to WL. No sense getting a car and this pass, I don't mind other buses when not crowded, but when Disney is allowed to put 100 on a buss that only has seats for 25, and my $40000 guide dog gets stepped on or rolled on, I get really mad, so just those last few buses of the night do I mind. What would you say the best option would be?
I have used this service a few times and the most people I have seen on the bus was 9 ( including myself) so it si not crowded at all.

by the way have you thought about email Disney and how to interact with people that are blind so that they know how to best help you go thought security. They may not change just because of you but if you have a few people that are blind email and say this would help me out they may listen. just a thought.

For those of you who have used it, have you found the times to be the same on the days you were there?

Also would this be a good time to grab lunch and eat it while waiting if park hopping around that time? If so and the bus came quickly, are you allowed to take food on the bus?

Thanks.
I was eating my sandwich when the CM walking me back to the bus told me I had to finish it before I got on the bus it took a few extra minutes since I had a friend in an ECV with me and by the time she got on and her ECV was strapped down I hade eaten my sandwich ( no it did not take long I learned how to eat fast baby sitting 4 little kids)

but if the food is in a close container you will be fine.

here is the chart I made - the times work no matter which way you are going between those 2 parks (edited to add these are the times the bus leaves - you should be at the kiosk to check in 5 minutes before that)

MK - EP 10/40
MK - DHS 20/50
MK - AK 0/30

yes, I know I could have typed out less but for me this type of chart is easiest to read. We were down from 1/17 - 1/24 and the times were correct every time we used them (most days we did 3 parks per day) We did not use the Express Buses the last day (day 8) or the 2nd to last day due to foolish decision making not to use it - not smart boy did we miss it :-)

And those are the times by which you have to report to the in-park kiosk, or the time by which you need to be at the actual bus (to which they lead you from the kiosk)?

I personally think people have started opting out of park hopping because of the ticket price increases, the new FP system, and also because it eats up 2 hours of actual park time. Leaving one park to walk to the bus stop, waiting for the bus, walking to front entrance, going thru security, more walking to the first ride of the new park. It takes longer than most people initially think. Right now in the winter, the parks aren't open as long. Hoppers cost, take away precious time, and are a PIA based on "who knows when the bus will actually come."

I think this test is more on the thought of "will people not only buy it but will change to hoppers to buy it." If it is, I think they will keep the price the same thru the beginning of the summer and re-evaluate then. Remember the first few years of the Disney Dining plan? They hooked plenty of people over a long period of time before increasing prices and taking things away. Now it isn't even cost effective for 80% of the people but yet people still purchase it. So I don't see them drastically increasing prices anytime soon. All in good time, lol.

Those looks like the times we had 11-16th. That is the time when the bus leaves- they were extremely prompt when we were there.

Your reasoning makes sense. You're spot on about the meal plan- something we've never used or ever will use.
