New Express Transportation: $19/day or $29/week-SERVICE ENDING AUGUST 23RD 2017

We have a car so no way would we ever need, use, or want this service.

Also resort busses tend to come more often than 30 minutes apart in my experience so I don't understand them even offering this.
As others have said.
The not leaving the park and not going through security and turnstiles again are the primary benefits seen by most. The actual moving you from place 1 to place 2 is not.
And I see benefit to knowing when the bus will be departing. I can arrange my day to be where I need to be when I need to be there.
All is under the assumption that you won't be left waiting for a 2nd bus. Only time will tell how that works out, or not

I don't see how this is going to eliminate the walk to the bus stop, unless this new bus magically pulls up beside you as soon as you decide you want to hop.

The one thing mentioned is that this new bus will run every 30minutes, AND there is an upcharge. to me, that is way too far apart to be useful.

If it only arrives every half hour, then people will have to walk to the designated bus stop and wait.

Waiting is waiting. It is wasted time. If the far left line is 5mintues shorter, I will happily walk the extra 15 feet.

Any time I have to be in a designated spot at a designated time at WDW, then I have to modify my actions to arrive at location at the prescribed time.

Disney is adding this for their benefit, not ours.
The phrase should be, this eliminates MUCH of the walking to a bus stop. The walk to the stops in the park will be shorter, in many cases, than the walk to the bus stop outside the park

The beauty of our world is those who don't want it don't have to pay for it. They'll still have all the original transportation options.

I'm sorry but it is not your place to decide what is of benefit to someone else.
If it doesn't benefit you, that's fine. But others, as you can tell by this thread can find value and benefit in it
A scam is a scam is a scam is a scam. Calling it a rose, as Bernie Madoff did, doesn't mean it isn't a scam.

I think I still live in America, where I'm allowed to be skeptical, and have my own opinion.

Sorry if you disagree.

So this is now a scam? Really? Care to explain how folks interested in this are being scammed? At least based on what we know now (not what guesses are being thrown around)

• Epcot
o Onstage kiosk location – East of Spaceship Earth
o Backstage location – Eastgate bus loop

Is this by the CM lot and Overpass Rd?
If so - park with my biggest transportation pains, would still be a pain.

Will be curious how this does, it has pros/cons with it.
As an AP holder I def would NOT consider for $15 a day.
That's a nice lunch! for me.
No, the Eastgate bus loop is at the front of the park, behind the security and admissions offices, near the tunnel entrance.

If I could buy the multi-day option for the length of my stay with my AP for $24 per person, I would definitely consider it.
Are you staying longer than 7 days?
Annual Passholders may purchase the single-day service for $15 or the multi-day service for $24 (valid for seven consecutive days from day of sale).

But we don't know that either.

Why offer a free shuttle when people are willing to pay for it?

We live in interesting times. Calling an upcharge a nice name doesn't make it a great deal.
Because the pay for version isn't available to everyone?

I'm not saying you can't be skeptical or have an opinion. What I'm saying is that you can't tell other people what benefits them or not, that's a personal choice

They just added the multi day for AP

I have a feeling this isn't the last tweak to come out in regards to this. I never felt the Q&A at the start covered everything and every possible question. For now, this still intrigues me as a very viable option. Subject to final details and actual implementation. Keeping an open mind, so to speak.

I would have paid this in a heartbeat on my last visit. My kids are 8, 6 & 1. Park hopping with the 1 yr old was hard.

If I have remaining days on a non-expiring ticket with park hopper, are these days eligible for the $24 multi-day offer? The offer appears to be connected to a ticket rather than a trip.

Are these going to be the same type of buses as used for the resorts? Or shuttle vans? If vans, how does that work with kids needing to be in car seats?
