How far is the walk from Dolphin to Epcot, MGM & Boardwalk?

The Boardwalk is just over the bridge in the left side of the picture - you can see Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance in the corner. Epcot is 10-15 minutes, depending on how fast you walk and MGM is 20-25 mins. You can also take a boat to both parks....and to the main area of the Boardwalk. The boat dock is also in the picture above.

Thanks PARAS4RI. We're considering staying at the Dolphin for our trip later this year and I like what I've read & seen so far...

MGM and Epcot are both nice to walk from Swan/Dolphin. Last two trips we rarely rode the boats. We like to stop at Big River on the Boardwalk for a snack and enjoy the patio.

We love both hotels and look forward to our trips. DH and I love alone time at F&W and take the children once a year. We have reservations for Christmas 2007 already. princess:

Thanks CindeBella! Does the Dolphin have a ticket desk where we can buy Park Hopper tickets? and do they give discounts?

I'm not Cindabella, but I can answer your question about the ticket desk. It is just off the lobby. There aren't any discounts given on tickets that I'm aware.

We can't wait for our 4th Dolphin stay in August!

Which floor/room would you recommend?

The higher up, the better the view. Try and ask for a room on the east side of the building on one of the wings. Tell them you want an Epcot fireworks view. Good luck!

We get our tickets from www.undercovertourist.com. Sign up for www.mousesavers.com newsletter to get the discounted rate. You must use the link from the newsletter, it comes out around the 15th of the month.

Otherwise, you can get your tickets from the Swan/Dolphin but I don't believe they are at a discounted.

Here's another Virtual Earth view (facing west) that shows the whole Epcot Resort area nicely. The Swan is at the top left, and the World Showcase entrance to Epcot is just a short walk further down the path at the bottom right:

I'm loving the aerial view photos, thanks for posting them!

We will be at the Swan this summer and we are so excited. I was wondering what the different room views looked like. I am especially interested in balcony views from all different areas. Will some of you post pics of your views and tell your location please.
Thanks

May I join in and ask for the same for the Dolphin??? We'll be staying there in December and I am also interested in what rooms I should request. I already asked for an upper floor with a balcony...what else should I know/request????
