New Epcot Food and Wine Premium Package for onsite guests only

Perfect! Thanks! I had read the review, but hadn't caught the comment with the breakdown.

Great Review. I'm curious if the tickets at the party can be used for Dom P. It said no restrictions.

I didn't look at the menu for Desserts and Champagne prior to the party, but it was not listed on the menu in front of the kiosk during the party. The most expensive champagne they offered was the Moet & Chandon Nectar Imperial at $12.50/glass. It was quite good!

I figured it wouldn't be included. ...oh well...still looking forward to sampling Dom at the festival...

I really hated that my wife and I couldn't make it down to the F&W event this year but I see that premium package holders received a magic band. As a way of making it up to her I was hoping to track down one of these bands to add to her collection. Does anyone know where I can purchase a F&W without attending the event? Maybe someone has one that has expired... Anyway, hope to make it back next year.

Are you looking for it just as a keepsake? Because there's no way you'd be able to link it to your own MDE account.

The F&W Premium Package was a real splurge, but we felt we got our money's worth and more. Having food brought to you instead of waiting in 3-4 separate lines that each Premium area covered, was heavenly. I only wished that there were some shade&rain umbrellas for the tables. DD29 was really wilting in the sun & heat of the Premium areas. I didn't mind using my rain umbrella for shade, but DD wasn't going to do the "parasol" look.

We went to the first Late Night Live party. There really weren't enough guests there and the party sort-of lagged. However, the musicians, the DJ, the fabulous dancers and other party entertainment were top-notch. Loved the light-up drink glass and the white cranberry cosmo martini. And it was potent. The atmosphere of being at Epcot at night, at a private party, was a special treat, and I would highly recommend the party to anyone interested.

We got some comments on the F&W LE MagicBand, and we'd like to keep them to use again. They aren't personalized with your name, but they do say 2014 F&W Festival.

We would definitely buy the F&W Premium Package again with our next resort stay.

Glad to see another good review of it. We will be down for the last week of it and I am excited to have this with our stay.

We are lending in MCO at 9pm on Thursday and have tickets for the late night live for that night.

We expect to be at CSR around 10:30, 10:45. So far our plan is to call the resort to hold our lanyard at the front desk so we can do a quick check-in without going to the room and then take a cab to the boardwalk area and enter WS by the international gate by 11:30.

For those of you that have gone, did you get everything you needed at your resort or did you need to check-in somewhere near Epcot? If so, do you think it would be a problem to get in that late?

Thank you very much!

I thought I read you pick up the after hours party at the Festival Booth during regular park hours. I haven't heard of anywhere else to pick them up.

Ok, now we could be in trouble.... Can any body confirm this?
So the package people received would only be for the premium part of the package which we did not purchase? If it has to be picked up during the regular opening hours we won't be able to get them at all....

I'll call the festival line line. Does anybody knows if this number, (407) 939-3378, is the right number to call to get that type of information?

Edited to add
I found that piece of information on the review of the event on the Disney food blog. «Because guests can access the event after hours, another check-in area is located at the International Gateway entrance into Epcot.»

I'll still call to try to figure this out!

Report on Late Night Live party, Thurs., Sept. 25, 2014.

We had heard different things about where to pick up the Late Night Live Credentials and food/drink tickets. We were in Epcot before close, and went over to the big World ShowPlace Events Pavilion between Canada and United Kingdom. There were some officials there, and we were told to go over to the Epcot park entrance nearby (International Gateway). Sure enough, they had a ticket booth or two designated for the Late Night Live party, along with a big sign. I gave my name and photo ID, and the ticketing CM had a computer print-out list of names. He found my name and number of guests in my party, and marked it off with a highlighter. Then he gave us a credential on a lanyard. It had six tear-off tickets on it, three on each side. One of the tickets had different color print, and that was for the white cranberry cosmo martini in the special lighted drink glass.

I presume the front entrance to Epcot also had a special ticket booth set up, too. I'm not sure what would happen if you arrived before Epcot closed and you didn't have a park entry ticket. Officially, the Late Night Live party starts at 9:45 pm. Maybe you would have to wait until official closing to gain entry? Someone else would have to answer that.

The party area went from United Kingdom (bathrooms) to the center walkway leading to Future World. They had CMs stopping you from going farther, except for those exiting the party either to the Epcot Resorts area or the Epcot front entrance. There were CMs in the non-party areas, keeping party guests from wandering (my guess). In the party area, the food kiosks which were open were Ireland, Showcase Coffee Cart, Canada, Greece, Refreshment Port (for the free martini), Desserts and Champagne, Hawaii and Scotland(?) (can't remember). The Puerto Rico kiosk was not open, unfortunately. But their music was on.

The World ShowPlace Pavilion had a great live band and juggling bartenders, plus a nice bar and seating. On the walkway around Epcot appeared (a few times) a dance troupe with LED-light props, and a few dancers on stilts with LED-light props. We thought the costumes were stunning. The dancers encouraged guests to get involved with them while they performed. There was also a live DJ at the band pavilion next to Canada, and at a smaller "cabin-looking" pavilion was an excellent singer on guitar with another keeping the beat. He played contemporary pop-rock and accepted requests. The singer is known in DTD. Maybe you know who I mean.

Overall, this was a great party. It was classy, no expense spared, quality entertainment. Disney tried to appeal to many different folks young to old. And it was truly special to be spending time at Epcot after hours. We would come again next year if offered.

I'll call the festival line line. Does anybody knows if this number, (407) 939-3378, is the right number to call to get that type of information?
.

That number is for making reservations. They will know nothing about your question. However, since they aren't allowed to tell you that they don't know, they could well either make something up or ask someone who doesn't know any more than they do.

There are four of us on our room reservation, but only two of us got the Premium package. (We always put my niece and nephew on our room reservations. They live in Orlando, and it allows them to join us at the resort to visit during our stay.)

Their original plans for Thursday night were cancelled, and we invited them to join us at the Late Night Live event. When I was in MDE, I could see that the reservation was available, but it wouldn't let me make it. It kept giving me an error message that I already had a reservation for that same time. (It was seeing our premium package.)

The wait time for the WDW-TOUR line was 45 minutes. I finally got through and purchased the tickets for niece and her husband. I specifically told the cast member what we were doing, and that I already had other tickets to the same event as part of the premium package. She pulled up our resort reservation, looked at our other reservations, and said she understood. I spelled my niece and her husband's names and was assured the reservation for the new party tickets were in their names. When I later looked in MDE, the new reservation shows me listed as one of the guests, and the other guest name as blank. It will only let me change the blank one.

I called back, waited again, and got a different cast member. She told me mine was the only name showing on the reservation. I explained the situation, and she took my niece and her husband's names again. She said everything was all set.

One more time, MDE still shows me on the reservation. I had my niece try to import the reservation into her MDE account, and she said it shows my name on it there, too. (Our accounts are linked.) Another call to Disney Dining line, this time. I asked them what names were on the reservation and she told me mine. She also took niece and husband's names and assured me, again, everything was set.

So MDE still shows it the same way. I'm beginning to think it's a problem that can't be solved. I wish I'd just given my niece my credit card number and had them purchase the tickets through their own MDE account.

We have annual passes and will be in the park before the event. My niece and her husband don't have park tickets and will coming in just for the party. Are we going to have a problem? Do the tickets themselves have names on them that get checked against an ID, or do you just need to show an ID to prove you're the person who purchased them? I don't mind picking up their tickets and meeting them outside. I'm more worried about someone stopping them from coming in because of the "non-transferrable" thing. I don't know how hard to keep pushing on this problem, or if it's really a problem at all.

Anyone have any advise?

Thank you for the detailed info. That is exactly what I needed!

I saw Dom there this weekend - the cost was about $32 if I recall. Have toured the M&C Caves in Rheims and it was fun to see the champagne from F&W at the source.

Any new reports on how the package has been going? We will be down for the last week and I would love to hear if any changes have been made :goodvibes
