How's everyone doing after the storm?
Our winds have finally died down but they were bad earlier. Several of the main roads in town are still closed (can still see the flashing police lights from across the lake from our window). Our power just came back on after probably 6 hours at best guess. We had a tree come down on our mailbox, and part of our pool fence blew away. But other than that we're ok. We have a generator so we were able to have heat and water, and a few lights, but it's nice to have all the power back on. Initially they thought our power would be out for up to 48 hours
Thank god they were wrong on that. The roads are a mess, and my sister and I moved two SMALL trees out of my dad's driveway this afternoon. We're expecting to do more cleanup tomorrow. I came home from school today, and it was one wild ride with the wind cutting across the highway, and all the branches and trees down
So how did everyone else fare?
