Kudos to the RESCUE, TINK!! Thanks for taking us off page 2. ::yes:: Any questions with your planning? I'm trying to get our plans all together as well. It's both fun & somewhat stressful, simultaneously. :sunny: Either way...in the end~it all works out~!

Since you asked, Dreamflight- I was trying not to be lazy and to dig up the info myself (especially with the increased speed of the boards) because I remember someone posting room numbers before, but-
does anyone know which rooms in the Dolphins have balconies and a good view (e.g. fireworks or at least unobstructed)? I enjoy high floors with wide vistas.

:cool2:

As far as planning, since I have the tendency to want to choregraph every move I try to do as little as possible and it comes out just right. But I think that if I were vacationing as long as you I would be stressed at all the possibilities. I'd have paper lists, computer lists, calendar lists, and a list of my lists.:upsidedow

East wing for either resort would be the epcot view. I would try for one of the king turret balconies on the far east wing.

Have we figured out if Thabo is at the Swan or the Dolphin? I know when we went last June he was mostly at the Swan. It sounded like he was mostly at the Dolphin as of late, which is why my reservations are at the Dolphin for Easter (still looking for good airfare!) I wonder if the staff knows we reserve depending on where they are? :) I have CL reserved so I am not worried about upgrading.

Back to those king turret rooms. Are any of those turret rooms queens? (or oversized doubles.. you guys know what I mean!) I thought about getting a king/sleeper, but I think DS would be heart-broken w/o the heavenly bed! Plus, DD is still in the air about going with us to Florida, or going with her friends for Spring break.

*room wave to all* Mompoppins is leaving soon! lucky you!

:jumping1: :rotfl: I have LISTS and LISTS, GALORE! ~and the stress I mentioned, is actually a good thing (or I would get nothing accomplished!). I have MANY great room numbers for you. Let me know which floor you prefer, and if you want a Corner King w/extra Turret balcony, etc. I'll PM you with the info. ::yes::

By special request of the President of the Sigma Delta Sorority (Disbug for those of you who are having trouble keeping up), I have added a group shot to the DIS Yearbook.

Just to sort of give you some inspiration on the DIS meet planning. (...which BTW if you would have made in late August rather than July, you could have found me posting pictures at the BCV right down the road....)

Thabo was at the Dolphin in September, I hope he's there in 7+ weeks :)

speaking of PMs, did you get mine, DF?

Thanks Madge! DF,Please please pretty please PM me the top secret information on the turret balcony rooms! I promise not to do anything out on the balcony that would embarrass the sorority! :)

Debbie

Thabo is usually at the Swan. He told us he fills in over at the Dolphin when they need him.
Sorry, Madge, for posting my reply on the wrong thread! Hope to see you in April!

LOUBON !!

Thank you so much for the Sorority photo in the yearbook! We look as adorable as we act!:Pinkbounc

Now see... Loubon is another late summer vacation goer this year! I thought I had a better handle on when people where going to be going! LOL!

As for the Swan and Dolphin, I will not be satisfied until Mama T and Thabo are included somewhere... So I will continue trying for a window to include them as well.

GO MOMPOPPINS... ! You have been so patient while your countdown clock has moved you ever nearer your dreamed of vacation! We can't wait until you bring us news of your adventures with DH, the girls, and Prince Kirk!

For those going in April, I just made a reservation at Port Orleans, French Quarter for April 2-4. Port Orleans will re-open in late March for the first time since it's rehab. DD9 will be singing with her School Choir at the MK, I believe on the 2nd. So, I will be there will video cam, digital cam, etc... recording the proud moment! That's all I know for now...

Debbie

I'll get back just in time to update you on Thabo's whereabouts ;)

When we were at the Dolphin last month, Thabo said he was working CL twice a week at the Dolphin. The rest of the time he was at the Swan.

Hockeymom, The king corner rooms all have king beds. I think they also have a foldout couch. DS and his GF were lucky enough to be upgraded to a corner king last May. If your DS would agree to the foldout couch, you would LOVE the double balcony! Hope this helps!

Loubon, thanks for the group pic!

Yes, Dreamflight, please. Any floor above seven. Are there floors above the CL levels? I'm not staying CL this time but- Its a Big, Beautiful Tomorrow...::yes::

Hail to the Queen!

Thank you also Hockeymom!:wave2:

:teeth:

I LOVE our sorority group pic!!! Thanks, Lou - you are the BEST!!!

WOW - aren't the Boards fast?! Thanks to our DIS techies - they are the BEST, too!

Loubon ~ Cute picture :) thanks for adding us.

I have never met Thabo, so I would not know him if I saw him. I cannot remember do they wear name tags? I will be on the look out for him and Mama T. :earseek:

I cannot believe our trip is finally almost here, It seems like yesterday I was laid up in the hospital for months only dreaming of taking the girls back to WDW. To think now I have our precious baby boy to take with us too, is more than I ever dreamed. God is good :)

Hi Everyone!

Just got off the phone with Marie at Dolphin reservations - made plans for a last minute trip 2/13 thru 2/18.

Have annual pass so was upgraded to a lake view at passholder rate for standard room ($162.50).

She said she would try to get me a renovated room. Any suggestions on requests for room number or floor?

Thanks!

DisneyPoly ~ It depends on what kind of a view you would like. If you want to see Epcot ask for far East wing with Epcot View the West wing is viewing the Pool area. The wings I believe have 9 floors. If you are in a king room you can also ask for a corner room and it will have 2 balconies. I have only stayed on club level on the 14th. floor. I cannot help you with room numbers. Maybe someone will pop in and be more helpful.... :)

~I'll read the other PM's and get back to you. ::yes::

MOM POPPINS~Amen. ;) Little Kirk is a true gift, and will be so much fun to explore WDW with on this visit! The girls will be so excited to show him all the wonder they know and love. This will be a blessed trip. :goodvibes: Yes, Thabo and MAMA T both wear name tags. Be sure to send my "hello" to both! Thanks. ^_^

Disneypoly~I could send you some room #'s as well, just let me know what/where you would prefer. :D Marie is an angel, and so warm and wonderfully helpful. Do you want a "balcony room?"

TTFN to all...the week has nearly passed!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to see my countdown. I'm in the single digits now for my first trip to the Swan!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Joanne

Thanks for the reponses!

DF99 - I would LOVE a balcony! Any chance of seeing fireworks? That's what the kids are most interested in.

Thanks!
