Yes, Debbie...ASK kindly at the front "podium" for a "window seat", and tell them you are willing to "wait" for it. Also, arrive for your ressies at about 8-8:30pm (when fireworks show is scheduled for 10pm...as in the summer). We always ask for KRISZ, as she has been there about 16 years. She is absolutely WONDERFUL. ;) The flutes were a complete surprise...and something they do for special occasions. We received these two years ago...on our 15th! This past summer, she gave us two free MUGS for the celebration. We have a cupboard full of these, some from King Stephan's banquet too.

My heart absolutely "ached" for your DS after reading the story about "making weight" for his Football game. Insane. The notion of applying this type of pressure to young boys/girls is so outdated. I thought the reports on bulimia/anorexia put a HALT to this practice some time ago? This is what caused Cathy Rigby, and a bunch of other gymnasts to develope unhealthy/dangerous eating habits. The list of sports inducing this behavior was rampant....Gymnastics, Ballet, Wrestling, cheerleading, etc.

BUT...NEVER FOOTBALL!? I thought being BIG/STRONG was conducive to this sport? The pros certainly seem to think so...and publicly/actively pursue the cornfed giants of the mid-west! Remember the FRIDGE? He was a massive man, but could run faster than some half his size! I thought I read of something like this a while back...where some "smaller" boys were injured in games where the "larger" boys were included. Therefore, the team initiated a "weigh-in", with strict guidelines for weight/height. Does this also mean children must first be "weighed" to engage in normal "play" with one another? What about when a group of neighborhood kids get together and "rough-house", etc.--which they frequently do (without supervision...it's called being CHILDREN)? Are they supposed to be "weighed" first, before they can PLAY with one another? It's ridiculous. I hope the effects on your son are not lasting. Maybe he should stick with HOCKEY. It still appears to be a genuine SPORT.

 Hi Mouseteacher! ~Shhh...I'm a YANKEE FAN!! (LOL). Did you say..."Grandmother?" Bite your tongue. :p I have not even "thought" about this yet. (He He). It is comforting to know they do return to the "fold" (Eastern talk). Thanks for the cheery thoughts. ^_^

Disbug~What a CUTE SITE (w/un-birthday song!). You are such a DEAR! Yes...pin collecting began INNOCENTLY enough, with DD. I stopped at the BW pin-cart, after passing them all in the parks for days. We took a "look", and ended up purchasing more than $200 worth. We then had to buy multiple lanyards to display them, as there were no other means (in the beginning). Slowly, we acquired books and bags, etc. Now...I'm getting them OFF the lanyards and into the books. So much better. It is still a very special "thing" DD and I indulge in while in the parks together. We have collected "thousands" of them, including SETS we initially decided against. We have the alphabet, all the states, princess doors, Nemo, Mirrors, Night before Christmas, etc., (and these are sets mostly from this year!). It is very addicting! Have fun together...there are much worse things to be addicted to, than DISNEY PINS! :)

Lauren~My thoughts are with the three of you today. Enjoy your celebrations...wherever you choose to PARTY! I look forward to your post. Have a FAB day in the midst of the MAGIC.

Debbie,
Here is another thought on the 'weighin'....why don't they make the boys weigh a certain weight before they can play? In other words, why keep the bigger boys out, when that is what football needs, and keep out the light weights who are more likely to get hurt(and not end up playing football anyway). You have to weigh at least...... this amt. before you can play!

Hi all!

RE: Unbirthdays.

I don't think there's anything wrong with celebrating an unbirthday...a lot of times I may only see a friend once a year or so, and have no problems "celebrating" their birthday whenever the annual meeting comes around. Who says we need to be slaves to the calendar?

RE: kid's weights.

I always think the preoccupation with weight is a weird thing for kids to have. I don't have any kids, but I certainly know some who compete in judo, etc. and the weight divisions are fairly strict there. If they're on the border, some go without food (and little water) for days before the weigh-in, jogging around in heavy clothing to lose water so they can get in the smaller division. If they don't, they're bumped up into the heavier division, where they'll get pummelled by the bigger kids. It doesn't seem healthy at all.

RE: my annoyance. [rant on/]

This week in OC Weekly, there's an article on Disneyland, where the writer hangs out with Disney regulars as they wander around the park, observing minutiae and discussing park history, upkeep, etc. The writer eventually concludes that they are all sad losers who are pathologically obsessed with meaningless stuff, and that Disney is just an exercise in evil mind-control. Given that the writer says he hates Disney and Disneyland from before the article anyway, I wonder what the point was of the article? Was it likely that he would suddenly "get it" after one day of hanging out there with fanatics?

It seems as though at least once a year OC Weekly runs an Disney article giggling about pathetic doofs who waste their lives caring about some stupid thing on which only kids should spend time. I wish it would just give it a break already--just because some don't sit around panting and salivating at the issues that OCW feels are important (rave clubs, changes in obscure district politics) doesn't mean their concerns are any less valid. In fact, given the horrible accident last week, a concern for the upkeep in the park seems fairly healthy now...

[/rant off]

RE: Swan (for topic's sake)

I really liked that they let you keep the room keys as a souvenir. It's nice to have the hotel picture with your name and the dates of the visit on it for later, when memory needs a jog...:earsgirl:

LIVE (STILL) FROM THE SWAN . . .

DS and I are sitting in our room at the Swan reading all of your posts. Disbug, thanks for the music! To the rest of you, thanks for all of your kind words and support. Today was our very best birthday ever (and the fun is not over yet!)

Got up this morning and we wheeled over to the Boardwalk Bakery. DS and I had breakfast sandwiches, mom had a croissant. All were pretty good. Caught the bus to AK at the BW and got there 15 minutes before it opened. Disney Tip: Do not be fooled by long line coming out of the ticket area. Walk around to the other side and you will see that there are only two really long lines, but other lines, like the one next to the cast member only line, were actually quite short. Got our birthday buttons and we were off. Did the safari and saw the new baby elephant. In the first hour, I think that at least 10 people wished us "twins" a happy birthday. Next, saw Tarzan Rocks. Honestly, we didn't think it did rock - but boy that Tarzan was easy to look at. We vote for giving Tarzan a bigger role in the show which bears his name. Nice loin cloth, enough said. Actually, the show wasn't bad, I guess we were just expecting something of the caliber of Lion King so we were a bit disappointed. Next, rode Dinosaur which was fun. Getting off of the Dinosaur ride fed us right into the gift store with the potato head station. WOW! That turned into quite an experiience as my sister and I engaged in a friendly, ok, not so friendly, competition to see who could stuff their box with the most body parts. A nearby CM took an interest in us and coached us through some of it. (eg, "I see some space in that box, here are more eyes to fill it.") The competition went about a half an hour as mom patiently sat in her chair shaking her head and laughing at our antics. As we were paying for our potato booty, the CM came running out with magical moments certificates for both of us which lauded our participation in the "Great Potato Head Race" and wished us a happy birthday. I guess you had to be there, but it was one of today's highlights.

After our fierce competition, we headed off of the KRR. It was a beautiful day and we figured, what the heck? How wet could we get anyway, it was a short ride? Stupid question. Plummeting down the big drop a wave resembling a small tsnami rose over the side and drenched every inch of me and I mean every inch. The CM getting us out of the ride at the end proclaimed "Oh look, the birthday girl got wetter than anyone." Gee, thanks. I tried to wring out what water I could and we went on to see the birds of flight show. I had never seen it before and it was interesting, but I was a bit preoccupied by the water dripping off of my shorts and shirt and puddle forming under my bench.

Time for lunch. Went to pizzafari. How about those kids voucher deals? DS and I each got a cheese pizza, chips and a bottle of water plus coupons for more water/soda and icecream. Not the most low fat of lunches, but what a deal. Mom got the salad.

After lunch, we walked to Camp Minnie and Mickey to get our birthday pictures with the main mice. Got pictures with Minnie, Mickey, Goofy and Pluto. They made a big deal over the birthday twins - it was a lot of fun.

Next, a quick stop at guest services to make dinner reservations and exchange my soaking AP for a new one. I didn't think that the wet one would ever make it through a turnstyle in the condition it was in. By the way, we have 815 ressies for Ohanas tonight. What do you think? The other option we are considering is Cape May Buffet. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated -- if anyone is on line on a sunday afternoon just waiting to dispense advice on my dining options. We wanted someplace fun to celebrate our birthdays.

Walked around the park a bit, accepted a gazillion more birthday wishes from everyone else in the park, received birthday phone calls from Goofy and then traded in our vouchers for icecream bars. DS charmed the vendor into accepting one of our water vouchers for an icecream as well so that all 3 of us could sit on a bench dripping icecream everywhere.

We were going to stay for the parade, but wanted to get mom home for a rest before our big birthday night so damp but happy we left the park and got back to the Swan quickly.

Here we sit -- I think we will go to Deb's site and check on menus so that we can make a more informed dining choice. Not sure what the rest of the evening holds in store for us -- maybe a return trip to Jelly Rolls (although I do not think I want it to be my birthday there -- not in the mood to go on stage and be taunted).

Thanks again for all of your great replies.

Lauren and DS (Allison).

Lauren, You have a tough choice between Ohanna and Cape May! We have been to both and they are both great but I would pick Cape May. It is our favorite buffet at WDW. There is something for eveyone there! Seafood and land lover food too! Ohanna Is also great with huge scewers of BBQ meats and shrimp. The sides are good too. All the waiters are called cousins! Which every you choose, have a great time!

Did you really purchase a kids vouchers at AK for your lunch? If so, how did you manage that? Sounds like you may have dined at Pizzafaria? Glad to hear all is well at AK!

Enjoy the rest of your vacation! Happy unbirthday! ;)

 Hi Mouseteacher, Ozzie, DF, Hockeymom and everyone else!

Muffy

Muffy - yes it was pizzafari. How did I manage it? The same way I would if I had my kids with me sitting at a table waiting for me to bring them food. I just went up to the register and ordered 2 kids meals -- once you lie at WDW about it being your birthday, fibbing about the presence of your children is not too much more of a stretch!

Just read a bunch of reviews with DSister about both Ohana's and Cape May. We keep reading bad things about the Ohanas food being too dry and since it is a schlep to get over to the poly with the wheel chair, we are not deciding between Cape May and 50s Prime time. I am on hold with Disney Dining as I type this. Is Cape May a fun place? What is the atmosphere like? Remember, this is our birthday!

Thanks.

Lauren

Happy birthday to the un-birthday girls!!! You all deserve a truly special time to remember forever!:D

'ohana is a great place to celebrate a birthday ... should be lots of fun. We just visited Cape May Buffet a few weeks ago and my whole family LOVED it! They all want to return again. The b'day celebrations were numerous the night we were there ... they did not go overboard in the clelbration, somewhat laid back.

DF ... those ducks are adorable!!! I enjoyed reading the names your DD selected (especially Ziggy, as in my avatar). You are truly blessed with a mature, caring, intelligent, and loving DD. :) :) :)

Lauren ... if you have a chance and like sweets ... visit the candy shop in the Dolphin. They have some delicious treats!!! I love the truffles but many on this thread love the chocolate covered oreos!

Lauren>> Isn't it wonderful being able to surf over to Deb's site and see what menu selections are at a particular place? I know we all have it "memorized", but somehow you forget the particulars once there! Your unbirthday sounds great! Let us know where you decided to celebrate!

To everyone's post on the sports/weight issue. He is in a 10 and 11 age league, 110 pounds or under. The next level up is 135 pounds and they're all 6th-8th graders (middle school). He is ten, as are the other three boys didn't make the weight at all and sat out the game. I love the idea of the weight you "must" be before you play, but that is because I have tall kids and even if they, like my dd, are very very skinny, they'd make the weigh in. Still, someone would be left out and I don't think elementary school is the place to decide what sport you can or can't play but rather a place in which you should be able to play anything you want to try out. I honestly just think it should be age only bracket In hockey its a serious birthday issue. You can always play "up" if you want to, but you can never play down, for any reason! DS is a second year squirt now, after being a mini-mite, and a mite for two years. I can't think of the "date" at the top of my head! I know they moved it a year ago. I believe they finally moved it to January 1. For example, all squirts will be kids born in 93 and 94, unless a 95 wanted to play up and had the parents'/rink's/and coaches permission. Sports are mental as much as physical. You see the growth as they get older on so many levels, this would keep that "playing field" level, also.

Thanks for letting me vent on this whole issue!

Lonegungirl>> Thank you for sharing the information on the article! I agree with you completely!

Ozzie>> Thanks for the computer help, but unfortunately it is a fried motherboard. Easy enough to fix, once DH decides which one he is ordering off the net and it comes in the mail.

DF and Mouseteacher>>I can take the easy way out and be on both of your baseball "sides!" It is sad, but so much of this area has just given up, years ago, on the Tigers. Hockey now, is another story! Please, I don't want any Canadians to thin k I am being disrespectful by this next story, but when I was little I thought "Oh, Canada" was the "hockey" song! A hockey game always seemed to be on tv right after they sang! LOL Obviously I know better now, and made sure my kids didn't have the same misconception.

Have a great evening!
Debbie

*waving to Muffy and KelliR* as their posts weren't here when I was typing up my last post!

Prime Time is a family favorite with us! If your Mom wants to be back in the kitchen of her youth, she would love it! They have very yummy desserts which I have seen but not touched! Something I always order is a PBJ shake. The PBJ shakes, while sounding not so good, are DELICIOUS! A lot of the atmosphere is visual, so if that is an issue today you might want to skip PT and instead do Cape May.

I have never been to Cape May..... yet another on our "list!"

Have a great UnBirthday!

Debbie

KellyR-- Laid back was what I was afraid of -- we are feeling a bit boisterous tonight. Accordingly, we decided to go to Prime Time. Sounds like a good place to go to have fun.

Debbie - Glad to hear that you like the place. Yes, visual things are an issue for us - but Mom can see some and the place sounds great. Don't think I could drink a pbj shake -- but I believe you that it tastes better than it sounds. Got our ps for 730 - just enough time to boat over, get out birthday buttons from MGM, and then have dinner.

I promise a full report tomorrow. Thanks all for the quick replies. My ds is sitting here in awe of my "internet friends."

Goodnight all.

Lauren

LOL, Lauren regarding children's meals. There were many times when I just wanted a small portion and the kids meal was just right- so I order a kids meal. I can't help with either restaurant since I haven't been to them. I did "see" Cape May on our way to the Yachtsman SH and I really liked the look of it. Another "to do" for another trip. Enjoy your birthday celebration.

Debbie ~ My DS is playing Varsity soccer (he's a senior). He has played for the HS for four years and has played since he was a little tyke. He received MVP as a freshman and received JV Coach's Award last year. First game of the season was last Thurs. The coach did not give my son playing time - the only player not to get playing time. DS came home feeling humiliated. DH and I talked it through with him about how he was going to deal with it. He seems okay. Next game is Tuesday. My problem is why do coaches have to be so mean-spirited. Would it have really hurt the team to put him in for some part of the game? :( Btw, they lost. I know this is HS but they are still kids and certainly not headed for any pro team. I think we could have accepted it if others weren't given playing time but just him?! DS, of course, wants to handle this in his own way and we respect this. We are not parents who rush in to complain. DS said. " I won't quit, I'll continue to give all I have at practices and deal with it." I was so proud of him. What a fine young man he is. This experience will make him a stronger and better person.
I just wonder where coaches are coming from no matter what the age of the child.

Thanks for reading my vent.

"DITTO". Whenever DD has ANY problems at school, she prefers to resolve them herself. We respect this, and have never interfered (even though at times, I have Wanted to do so).

Still...I can't help but dislike the UGLY SIDE of sports. Being an athlete myself, I witnessed a lot of discrimination in school sports. My heart ached for the kids whom were obviously overlooked and seemingly punished by a coach too obsessed with his/her own opinion/ideal. These were usually the kids who also seemed to give 150% to the sport, the ones whom sometimes lacked "natural" God-given talent/ability, yet had ALL the HEART/DESIRE (Rudy). This method is cruel, and should be banished in H.S. (And lower grades) sports. EVERYONE should be given a chance to PLAY in the GAME. ;)

Kelli~Ziggy...(LOL), a sweet duckling...to be sure. ^_^ Thanks for the kind words/sentiments with regards to my DD.

Debbie~Ozzie had a great suggestion, but the "Hockey" guidelines seem to be the most logical. It just seems unfair, and too restrictive to base acceptance on the weight of the player. Some boys are TALLER, and therefore will obviously weigh more than someone shorter. Common sense is in short supply with these sports programs! :p

Lauren~your posts are GREAT! Love the details of the KRR, and the birds of flight show, TARZAN (Loin Cloth...LOL), Great potato heads race & MM certificate...all PRICELESS!

I would definitely opt for the Prime Time Cafe for your BD dinner this eve. The Pot Roast is my fav, DD loves the white meat fried chicken and DH loves the meatloaf. The shakes are YUMMY (served with the EXTRA on the side in the old metal blender cup), PBJ is good...Cookies and Cream too. The best dessert is the S'MORES! It's a whole plate of Grahams, topped with real chocolate & marshmallows...all toasted under a broiler. They are then "drizzled" lightly with hershey's syrup! Ohhh....pass the MILK!

LOU~Oh, dear Brother! What an ADORABLE UN BIRTHDAY PHOTO! Thanks for the SMILES!:)

Muffy~ I too, have on occasion placed an order for a "kids meal" at a WDW restaurant. I've never been turned down (Does this mean I look 11?!), and have enjoyed the food/portion. This is on rare occasion, as usually I SKIP lunch and just do DINNER! Yet, this summer I ordered a kids meal in two places. One was a true "kids meal" (AK), the other a kids dinner (RF).

**GO NINERS! **

On topic...WONDERING where to consider some early PS for next summer. Definitely YSH, CG, BD, CR, R&C, TG, CRT, etc. I also have to buy new PAP next summer....so I better start budgeting for these things NOW! That's an extra $1500 I didn't have to spend this summer (but...the cruise was an extra $3000 we may skip this summer). LOTS to figure out!).

TTFN....DF99

Lauren....I know I am late answering, but have been to Ohana, Cape May, Prime Time and I like them all. I also have heard the bad reports lately about Ohana's.:( I think you will enjoy Prime Time. When we celebrate anniv. we go to Cali Grill. My ds has celebrated #16 and #21 at Sci Fi(his choice). Always has been fun. :bounce: The cm's made him stand up and sing both times. The last time, they brought him an alcoholic drink and the whole place thought it was a hoot.(his bd is NYE) Anyway, I am sure you will have a good time no matter where you go. I can tell by your posts that you make your memories, you don't sit back and wait for them to come to you! Makes for a great life. Hugs and unbirthday wishes to you and Allison. Big hugs for mom.

My ds just left with his friends back to school, after downing steak and all the trimmings, including chocolate cake. I have told you he is a journalism major...the joke at Mizzou is that if you are a j major you must be out of state....his friends were from Kansas and Nebraska! Long way from home, so a good home cooked meal was in order!

The "game"......as most of you know I am a PE teacher of many years, including coaching....I only teach K-3 now, but coached grades 5-12 off and on. I totally agree with everything hockeymom and mouseteacher say and am heart-broken about their sons' experiences. It makes all of us look bad. AND it does nothing but make those kids feel bad. I know that you find this in life, but I don't feel kids need to be singled out like that. Include all kids, give them experiences where they will succeed and feel good about themselves. In my school, everything I do is competition-free. They don't need that to be successful or to have fun. They get too much competition anyway. I admire your sons' courage and can only hope that they will come away from these experiences better people for what they have learned.
Ok, off my soapbox now. Sorry for so off-topic! Take them to the Swan and Dolphin and make them feel that magic again. They are so lucky to have parents like you guys!:teeth:

Lou, you are a riot. The only person I know that can speak in pictures!

DF.....had my wine today! Not Dom, not in WF, but it tasted pretty good!
:smooth: :teeth:

I think this post is directed towards Mouseteacher ...

What a fantastic day today ... remember I live in BUFFALO ... it was about 80 degrees, lovely sunshine, and just a gentle breeze. We tend to make the Weather Channel only for our snowstorms, but today was perfect! And I spent this day at Ralph Wilson Stadium watching the Bills/Patriots game. It felt like a little piece of heaven!:teeth: :teeth: :teeth: (I know, I know ... it's only one game) but it was so much fun. I must thank the Patriots for Lawyer Milloy!!! LOL

Mousetesacher ... I'm just teasing!

OH Mouseteacher, your story is even more heartbreaking than mine! That is just awful! We're not talking the pros, we're not talking the state finals, we're talking GAME ONE! I know it will hurt for your son to talk to his coach, but he sounds like a strong boy and I am sure it will help a lot with his next games, and life!

Since we had the son's of both his hockey coaches over last night/this morning. We talked with both of them on this, and they agreed we're two parents who always stay out of the coaches decisions, but in this case, something has to be done. There are SEVEN< count them 7! coaches on football..... guess which kids are always out there? That, right there, is part of our problem but we can't touch that part of the puzzle. We can talk about his ability, his heart, and his never ending want to do what is best for the team!

AHHHH I feel so much better now!

Ozzie, it doesn't make all of you look bad. (and I didn't know you were a PE teacher!) DS has had great coaches, too! DD has also had some great coaches through her sports and cheerleading! We are on the second year/season 3 of having the same hockey coach. We chose and requested this and it worked out in the draft. He and his assistant work well as a team, and they have always played those boys evenly, sometimes too even when it is a playoff game, but they are only kids! Their locker room is run well, and the kids are all well-behaved. I wouldn't let ds go AA travel do to the fact that the coach there is totally ambivalent to what goes on in that locker room. I look at the whole picture as life skills.... not just the score at the end of the game.

DF>> You have raised a very strong and confident young lady! I would love to meet her some time! (and you too, of course!)

KelliR>> We also had that picture perfect weekend weather! So nice to have and be able to enjoy! I love the warm not HOT days and cool nights! I wish you more of the same. My mother is from Grand Island, NY... so I grew up hearing about all the snow!

Lauren>> We'll be waiting for details on your Unbirthday! I love the picture Loubon posted! Let me know how the desserts tasted! We are always so full after our meal, even with sharing, and the pbj shakes that we never are able to partake in dessert! (like we need dessert with that giant shake! LOL) They look great in the view master, though!

*waving to Muffy, Disbug, Jgates and others!*

Have a great week, ladies! *and brothers!*

Ah,,,,, that's the book DS did his Graduation speech from!!!!

We survived Kiss & Aerosmith - great concert. A few rather illegal odors in the air and some people that should 'get a room' near us, but DD and friends DD were so wrapped up in the music they didn't notice - just all of us adults did! One fellow when we were walking in immediately crossed his arms over his chest so the girls couldn't see his t-shirt & said kid-alert! so his friends wouldn't say anything offensive when we walked by. DH is nearly crippled from holding DD up on his shoulders so she could see well!

Wow! Heavenly beds, showers and cribs?!? The more I read about the Swan, the more excited I am about our upcoming trip. Thanks to everyone for the info about the cribs and your opinions about the vouchers. Dreamflight, thanks to you especially for the link to the article about the new cribs. I guess I should know by now that everything at the S/D is top notch. I was just worried because I have seen other hotel cribs (yuck) and I know that even at home, my DD loves to chomp on the crib rails while she is teething. Sometimes I wonder if a beaver lives in there as well. :p

Lauren>> Happy Un-birthday to you and your sister! Can't wait to hear how your "party" at Prime Time went. Had to laugh about the Potato Head race, I could imagine my sisters and I doing the same.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I finally finished my homework, I mean my DS's project, tonight. He is "Student of the Week" starting tomorrow, so I had to find pictures, awards, art work, etc. for him to take to school so that his kindergarten class can get to know him better. We also had to work together to write a story, in his own words. I was tickled that he chose to talk about our trip to Disneyland. He wasn't even quite four years old when we went but he sure remembers a lot of it. My DH and I had a good laugh today when he started singing the Tiki Room song (and now I can't get it out of my head!). The relatives who thought we were wasting our money taking him at such a young age were sure wrong! But I am sure that is a topic that has been discussed many times on these boards. ;) It was fun to look through all of the old pictures but time consuming because I did want to look at everything! That's why DH kept asking me if I was done with my homework yet. :p

Good night all and have a good Monday!!

Lauren,
I order kids meals often at WDW too. I was just wondering about the food vouchers that are sold at AK. I didn't know you could further sweeten the deal by purchacing the kids voucher instead of the adult voucher?! That is great news if you can! For folks that don't know about these great vouchers, they are only available at AK counter service. The adult voucher is around 11.00 and the kids voucher is around 6.00. It allows you an entre, beverage, dessert AND a seperate voucher for bottled water and ice cream for later. It must be used on the same day it is purchased. There is some talk of these vouchers being available sometime soon in MK also.

Boy it was hard to get the girls up this morning! Thanks to a nice Bus Driver who waited on DD15, she didn't miss her first bus! Whew! It is still dark this morning, so we must have lots of cloud cover here! Fall is in the air, and DayLight Savings Time is almost over!

Okay, experts needed (again): correct me if I'm wrong... is it 1000 pts for CL, 1500 pts for room upgrade and 10,000 pts for a suite upgrade? Does that include the jr. suite? I am not talking about a free night, just upgrade. (*Wanted to have an on-topic question here!)

Cup of coffee in hand and a little DIS to start the day!
