Enter it as: (reverse the direction of the > and < again otherwise it wouldn't show.)

If you vary the 200 up or down that will make it larger and smaller. Also, you will probably need to do this for each URL separately.

Lou

BTW If you ladies are going to talk about jewelry all day I'm going back to the DVC Board!

Did I say I needed a bracelet? I think I meant golf clubs and some new fishing gear, yeah that's it! How about that Monday night football game? Can you believe how it ended? (has no idea how it ended or that it even started! LOL shhhhhhhhh)

mouseteacher>> I commend you for being able to hold golf clubs and fishing poles while typing. That is quite a talent!

Just doing my part to make one of our honorary brothers feel welcome!

Forget Golf and fishing.....

When are your Red Wings going to trade CuJo to my Rangers????

Okay, I am no longer being taken over by my signature!

Thanks to Mouseteacher for the suggestion and Ozziewags and Loubon for the technical help!

GO RED SOX! (just for you, Loubon)

Ozziewags~ Thanks for the charms info. I was out doing back to school shopping and have been on the lookout for Disney charms.

DF~ Thanks for the link for the charms-- great site!

Loubon~ No more talk of jewelry -- promise!

Glad to hear others PC's are slow-- must be the site. It's been working better tonight

NO...Don't GO! Even though I have not been able to post as much as I usually do...(Traveling/adjusting/planning)...I am ENJOYING all the assistance and entertainment you are providing, Lou!

Which leads me to my query. Could you possibly "instruct" me (Tech-challenged), how to insert the new S/D avatar into my sig? Truly...the fab WDW picture I have was actually inserted by TREKKER! I have no idea what to do...and have not been paying enough attention lately to keep up (shame on me!).

I HAVE, however...planned the dates for next summer! Anyone have the countdown timer address/link handy for moi? I need to change it...so I can see the hundreds of days PEEL-AWAY! Thanks, in advance. I am in the process of reserving the VERO VILLA for 10 eves, the Portofino Villa for 6 eves, and the WDW Dolphin for the month+ (+++++...LOL). I have not decided on any other adventures...and may opt for the more simple summer plans. Yet...I've been known to change my mind at a moment's notice. :p

So..no more jewelery-talk from moi. You are a true-blue SWAN/DOLPHIN "keeper"! A genuine GEM.

Here were some different ways:

If anyone has problems with the avatar, I could not get mine to just paste in at the bottom. So I opened my photo program, pasted in there, cropped and sized and saved as jpg. Then I was able to 'browse' my pc and find the file. Then it worked like a charm

To copy the avatar and post it, you can also right click on it, click on 'properties', then highlight and copy the URL address. Then paste it into the 'edit profile' space on your user page. You can do the same thing with most pictures and clipart, depending on where you find it and what form it is in.

Mine were in the first listed - I think the 2nd paragraph is actually easier! I was soooo tired when I tried to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet you will have it displayed in seconds!

OH YES!!! THANK YOU LOUBON FOR THE YEARBOOK PHOTO!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN VERY BUSY!!!!! Its as exciting as getting a new tag!

With all the great info given me on this board, I just want to share this. If you go to Nominations.com you can order directly from them. After reading these boards I bought my wife the starter bracelet in Italy (WDW) where else. I ordered over the internet and received the other charms within a week. Hope this helps someone.

Mouseteacher :

No, the link is not working--grrh. Stupid AOL. Apparently the only way to do it is to download each picture individually to a different website...AOL provides me with a website, but each picture file seems to have to be reduced individually for easier transfer.

This may be a work in progress...

lonegungirl: Upload your pictures to imagestation. It's free to join and easy to post pictures from there, I hope that helps.

DF~ Countdown timer is over on the Tech Board - JCricket's post, I believe.

Lou~ (right hand raised in the air) We, Sigma Delta Sorority Sisters, promise to limit our "girl" talk so you can stay as long as you like. BTW, we CAN talk sports, too. Red Sox (Nomar), Patriots (Tom or Tommy as we call him) and Celtics fans in this male dominate household. :D

jgates~ clever yearbook pix!

Disbug~ I'm making room in my sig for our S/D logo when the voting is complete.
:D

Ok I'll stay for awhile but I get nervous because:

Most of you are Teachers and this web site doesn't have spellcheck (sorry the nuns scarred me for life)

You're all women (enough said)

You're learning programming skills at an unnatural rate!

DF - Here is the link for the countdown http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=381216

Disbug - I'm getting a message your e-mail is full. Did you get the last 2 logos?

As for the sports referrences, I appreciate the effort but as a native NYer you're killing me with the Boston teams (although I'm not a Yankee fan, I'm a Met fan!)

Just remember, jewelry I can handle but if anyone gets hot flashes I'm outta here!!!!

Loubon ~ Glad to see I'm not the only NY sports fan. Love the Yankees though. I am also a teacher(Kindergarten), at least I was BC(before kids).

Good point about the spellcheck. I have horrible spelling and always rely on spellcheck. They should add it to the site. Who should I suggest it to?

I need to get my DS13 ready for his first day of High School. He spent 8 years at the same school and he's a bit nervous. (So is his Mom  )

Where in LI? My wife is from New Hyde Park and we lived there for 10 years before the job moved me to NJ.

Loubon-You are TOO funny!

I am a woman teacher but honestly I won't correct your spelling with my red pen.

As for the programming skills, I had my husband help me yesterday.(although I did learn it as well)

GO METS! (You would not have got me to say that for the Yankees. No one around here would DARE to route for the Yankees!)
:D

Loubon ~ I grew up in Syosset then moved to CT. We returned 8 years ago to Port Washington. You were smart to move away. Once I moved to Fairfield I thought I'd never return to LI, but my husband disliked the commute to the city. We plan to move to FLA eventually.

Hello everyone,

We are staying at the Dolphin for the first time in Feb. I have read so many great things about the S/D on this site that we decided to give it a try, especially since I will get my nurse discount!

We are specifically looking for a good place to eat breakfast before we begin our commando touring of the parks. I have read on here at some point that the Dolphin has a breakfast buffet. This would be perfect for us. Is the food good at the buffet or should we go elsewhere for breakfast?

Thanks to everyone for this great site!

Just popping in so Loubon doesn't feel overwhelmingly outnumbered.

I know what you mean about watching grammar and spelling around teachers - my wife is a teacher, and her best friend along with her husband. We travel together every year (this year at the S/D) - and I have to endure "shoptalk" quite a bit.

Speaking of sports - strange times in Chicago, wih both baseball teams doing well. On the radio station I listened to driving to the train station, they did the sportscast with the "Twilight Zone" theme being played in the background.

Ozzie - is your screen name a takoff on the greatest shortstop I ever saw? (We've had some great ones in Chicago, but nothing like Ozzie Smith). The Cards/Cubs rivalry is great, but we're in unfamiliar territory with the games meaning something this late in the season.

One more sports reference - I'll be missing the Bears home opener vs. GB during my trip to Boston. (I bought two PSLs for the new stadium - had season tickets for 20+ years). It's killing me, but at least my two boys will be able to go.

Charm bracelts are somewhat of a sore point in my house: my daughter lost hers a couple of years ago; it wasn't the money, but the memories (vacations, school accomplishments etc.) She never wanted to start a new one. Now she makes her memories by compiling videos of her and her friends - complete with music (a lot of Disney, I should add). She did one for a friend for her 16th birthday that was really professional looking; burned on DVD with motion-menus etc. Can't wait to see what she does with our recent vacation tapes.

Catch everyone later - hope the school year starts out great, and the weather cools down a bit.

DrmWvr1299 -
We had the breakfast buffet at the Dolphin and it was great. A wide variety of healthy foods as well as less healthy "vacation" foods. The omlettes were especially good. Very good service, can get a table with good views - I think it's a perfect choice.
