LOL Ozziewags - i teach in a very urban middle school in a large city, and my kids have saved up and fundraised since Sept for this trip. Some even had their trip costs donated by people i have never met - that is why this trip is so special. All the kids received pin lanyards and pins, resort mugs and pixie dust beyond my dreams. When you consider there are 1100 kids in my school, 43 is a drop in the bucket but i am so excited for them. I will let you all know how the trip goes. We just want a safe journey and lots of magic for them. Caroline
HAVE A GREAT TIME, CAROLINE! Seems like it was a year ago I first became aware of your plans. Wow..time certainly flies (when we're having fun). I know you will receive your reward, when you gaze at the "expressions" of your students as they see the CASTLE for the very first time! May God Bless you and your charges, and hold you in the palm of his hand safely, until you all return.
DD attends a private Catholic school...and they have NEVER taken a trip to WDW! LOL....(but they do attend Grad night at DL, since we are so close).

She played with her Steel Drum Band yesterday for "6 hours" at the Catholic School/church Mardi Gras event (I won $20 in BINGO!). Her feet, back and shoulders are "tired" this am! She took a hot bath last eve, and said she's taking another as soon as she returns this afternoon. They sounded so wonderful, and sold quite a few of their CD (professonally recorded). I'm contacting the event coordinator at DL, to see if they can perhaps play during next years Mardi Gras.
"jgates & jaygatz"....ARE YOU RELATED?
karma_cameleon~Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! So happy you are planning to include the Dolphin on your honeymoon. The traditional King room, Or standard King room is a bit smaller in size, and also offers the standard "view". Most all the Deluxe King rooms will have the resort/water view, and be a little larger in size. The ammenities are the same, King bed with small sofa, etc. The NICEST KING rooms in the Dolphin are the "CORNER KINGS W/TURRET" (this is how they are designated). These rooms are located in the end of the wings, and have two balconies~as Ozzie stated. One is a traditional balcony, the other a private balcony. In my opinion, the most grand are located on the far East Wing, floor 5 and up. This would be 5015, etc. The view will be EPCOT on the traditional balcony, and also MGM on the Turret (if you peer around the end of this balcony). These were dubbed "Corner Executive suites" when the resort was operated by Sheraton. They are very roomy, and private (not offering the connecting door to 5017). Balconies are nice at the Dolphin, since they are "staggered" in design. So, when you are on the balcony of 5015, the room adjacent to yours in 5017--does not have a balcony...thus offering you more of an intimate setting. The Turret Balcony will "knock your socks off!"

Call and request asap.
WolfpackFan...That's all you need! If you phoned, and they "confirmed" you currently have enough to upgrade~Then VOILA! Make sure you place the request 5 days prior to arrival.
